Black hair = He will not get into Paradise

Yes it seems they really know nothing.

Book 33, Number 4200: Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: At the end of time there will be people who will use this black dye like the crops of doves who will not experience the fragrance of Paradise.

Book 33, Number 4199: Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
When a man who had dyed himself with henna passed by the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him), he said: How fine this is! When another man who had dyed himself with henna and katam passed by, he said: This is better than that. Then another man who had dyed himself with yellow dye, passed by, he said: This is better than all that.

What this means that radical Islamists don't dye their hair black, period. Sure they dye their hair, but radicals usually use henna only and this gives their hair a reddish tint. In Osama's world, black hair = he will not get into Paradise, I think everything else is okay, just not black, but then of course he's on the run, or on a special mission so......nah, they should do better research next time.

Excellent post.

Do you have a link to where that translation came from?

On another note, what I find strange everytime a new Osama tape comes out, is the general disregard and nonchalance the Media uses when giving us 'visuals' to go along with the texts.

On many of the websites I have looked at in regard to the new tape, I have seen them use stills from the new video, stills from another video where he appears to be wearing the same outfit, same backdrop, different beard, images of him outside in a camo coat among many others. And the only mention that it is not the most current photo, is at the bottom some tiny little 'AP Stock" or something of the effect.

I understand that he is in "hiding", so not many new photos, but there are too many times where old and new are intermingled, that it gets hard to know what is what.

Has anyone else noticed this happening, especially with the new video?

I've had that thread stuck in the back of my mind this whole time. Have no idea if it actually means anything or not.

On another note, can anyone explain who this "Joshua" is that he is talking about?

Corporal Joshua Lake

A Violent, 'Normal' Day in Baghdad July 16, 2007

ABC Features 'Great Candor' from 'Bitter' Soldiers in Iraq

The article was a derogatory look at the Iraq war, a "hit" piece if you will. Some video was included in the article.

During these July interviews the two soldiers, Corporal Joshua Lake and Specialist Michael Vassell, had harsh words for Washington.

"Because we have people up there in Congress with the brain of a 2-year-old who don't know what they're doing. They don't experience it," Vassell had said. "I, I challenge the President or whoever has us here for 15 months to ride along, alongside me. I'll do another 15 months if he comes out here and rides along with me every day for 15 months. I'll do 15 more months. No, I - they don't even have to pay me extra."

So in three years this man has not changed his clothes, and is still videoing in front of the same damned wall, and got so bored waiting for us to find him he decided to go Grecian?

...

The only thing different between those two pictures is the color has been adjusted to a greener hue on the newer one and he has a black beard.

I'm a little confused by something...

I did a quick search on whether Muslims had a prohibition on dying one's hair. I immediately found this 2005 source on the issue:

Question:

Assalamu Alaikkum

I want to know if highlighting of hair is allowed in islam.I know that dying white hair to black is prohibited. Can I highlight my black hair?
If dye is used, is abulution completed/accepted?

...

Answer
Asalamu aleykum

It is allowed for a woman (or a man) to change the hair color, although it should not be colored black. Please read the fatawa below.

...

If the hair is dyed black, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade that when he commanded a man to change his white hair, but to avoid black. He said: “Change this white hair but avoid black.” (See Saheeh Muslim, 5476). A stern warning has also been narrated to the one who does that, namely the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “There will be people at the end of time who will dye their hair black like the crops of birds; they will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise.” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, 4212; al-Nasaa'i, 8/138; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami', 8153). This indicates that it is forbidden to change the hair with black dye. With regard to changing it with different colours of dye, the basic principle is that it is permissible, unless it is done in the manner of kaafir women or immoral women, in which case it is forbidden for that reason, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.” (Narrated by Abu Dawood, 4031; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Irwa' al-Ghaleel, 5/109).

Source.

Am I missing something here?

I'll look for more sources on this issue...

Here read this...
www.islamqa.com...

Question:
Is it permissible to mix red henna with black katam and put it on the grey hair of the beard, noting that after that the colour of the beard will be black from a distance, and from close up it will be clear that the colour is dark brown?.

Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.

Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

The Sunnah is to change the grey hairs by using henna, or henna and katam. If it is changed using henna it will be orange and if it is changed using henna and katam it will be between red and black. There is nothing wrong with that and no sin involved, in sha Allah.

Makeitso also pointed out the issue of henna to me in a U2U. Frankly, the quality of the photo makes it impossible to tell the true color.

I still find it interesting, nonetheless, that he colored his beard at all.

Don't you?

Well theres nothing sinful about dyeing your beard as long as it ain't black.

Anyways he just wants to make himself look young to make an image that America didn't make his life miserable when he was running for his life. He's trying to look like a calm man surrounded by America's military might that can't find him. Who knows what he actually looks like without dyeing...look at his face he looks like he's about to die or something. Can't make your followers look at you vulnerable and weak as a leader eh?

I always have a tendency to look for what is being 'sold', so I don't necessarily disagree with your view. But I still think it is damn interesting that he did that.

On another matter, there is something that really bugs me about his speech too. I can't quite place my finger on it, but there is something...

I think I need to re-read this thing.

Or he is already dead, and this is Osama III, aka body double number 2.

A dead nemesis perpetuated by the US government

Edit to add, I have thought he was dead since Tora Bora. Still do. I have not seen one piece of real evidence that he is still alive.

How is it that the US government seems to have prior knowledge weeks in advance of countless Bin laden tapes, yet were oblivious to the fact that Al-Queda was going to attack on Sept. 11, 2001?

Sounds like its staged to me.

He clearly had it before 911 as well. Just not ON 911.

everything regarding the "war on terrorism", bin laden, 9/11 is gaining WAY TOO MUCH attention...attention dictated by the media and millions of people, including ATS-people, fall for it.

The common trick of con-men: Get their attention fixed to something of less consequence for years while we can do other stuff behind the curtains. Get them into a hysterical frenzy on 9/11, "Terrorism"...that will keep the sheeple busy for years.

But there ARE more important topics nobody is paying attention to because of the bush/terrorism hype. One thing the Bush Administration has been brilliant in is creating a permanent atmosphere of threat and danger and preoccupation.

Well since CPYOmega always believed that since the U.S. govt. knows ahead when Osama was going to post videos since post-9/11, he expects that the U.S. govt. should have known exactly when the Al Qaeda would attack in pre-9/11. Get my meaning?

I'm no longer scared of Bin Laden or the terrorists.
They are like a yappy dog who keep threatening but are too small and ineffective to do any major damage.

Yeah, we get it, they don't like West.
But I'm past caring.
Seriously, they are all sooooo 2001 and over if you ask me.

You'd think they could manufacture another Muslim terrorist by now. I just hope the people do not fall for this crap again!

I guess Hitler was right when he said, "Just keep telling the same lie over and over- after a while of this repetition the public will eventually believe it."

No wonder the sap lost the war!....Our government will too. The people are waking up.
