American Football: Jeff George???

I just read that Jeff George is trying to make a "comeback" in the NFL as a possible 3rd stringer somewhere -

"I've been in touch with a handful of teams," George said this week during a phone conversation. "I just want that shot. I can really help a team, even in a No. 3 role. I know the game, and I'd love to assist a team in helping out a young guy."

Can you beleive this? Why would a team take a chance with this guy?

ummm how old is this guy? And can he possibly keep up with the young guns.

He's pretty old, but not as old as Testeverde, Gannon, or O'Donnell (he might get a shot this year, maybe the Giants?)

he must be out of money.

Maybe he can go to the Giants and show Eli how to be an NFL QB
