Gets off steroids, changes every month of comeback date, first game back 1-4 hit one close to the warning track

What's so outragous about changing comeback dates. When you have an injury like that it's hard to predict when you'll come back. Espeacially when you have 100 reporters every day asking you the same question.

And im sure A-Rod and Pujols will eventually reach these marks

But it ruins some of the mystique of these players in my opinion, and i would rather see barry bopnds as a guy that hit 705-710 then like 765 its too much

Arod- 815
Pujols- 808/798
Aaron-755

Ruth-714

I see you are biased towards Arod. While he will probably break 755 first, Pujols is thebest bet for 800+ HRs. If Bonds can hit 5 more HR's, he'll be 45 away from Aaron. He hasn't hit under 45 since 2000,not including this year. Bonds will finish with 753-756 HRs in my figurin.

Andruw has never hit for this amount of power, though is a consisten 30 HR guy. At 19 he hit 2 HRs in his first 2 WS ab's. I don't see him reaching 600... but more around 580 or so.

I wouldn't be too surprised if he does retire. He has made it clear that he cares not for 755, but for 714. He wants to pass Ruth, because he feels Ruth was the best, and the icon for this sport, not because Ruth was white like Bonds bashers like to say.

580 is still an amazing amount of home runs...and its close to 600
