It is true that you said that. But what I wanted to point out is thet the Book of Revalation says add them up. The enigmatic number is 600+60+6, not 6, 6, 6. VISA when using your idiotic way of calculating adds up to 18. You need to multiply that with 37 to get 666.

Idiotic is your perception. I think it's the best way so far! And VISA credit card IS used for all transacrions! In fact, we may be moving towards a cashless societies and it will be a visa chip in your arm, for ease of use. Advanced identification purposes AND transaction all in one.. without need for a wallet!

If your shop is open on Sunday without permission you are closed down. But there are no regulation for the Sabbath. The 666 in the bible has an almost infinite amount of meanings. The physical evidence is badly damaged and may read 610, 616 and 666. Some people say it's just means "enlightened man" or that Jesus is the beast or Kofi Annan, Ronald Reagan and others. This passage has bothered me all my life since Revelation, to me, is merely the destruction of Jersusalem in A. D. 70. (Nero�s name: 666. In Hebrew the name is �nrwn qsr�: n (50) r (200) w (6) n (50) q (100) s (60) r (200), which totals exactly 666) According to the passage no one will be able to buy or sell without it. The mark also has many interpretations: People who observe sabbath on Sunday for example. More than likely it's just God being able to protect his people once they've gone so far to be faithful that they are exiled from society (buying and selling). The actual mark being inconsequential. But when we are all given small machine readable tattoos on our hand to wave at the the tiger symbol at the gas station or in McDonald's I'll be thinking twice.

Nearly all barcodes start with a 6, have a 6 right in the middle and a 6 at the very end. If you look at a barcode there is a gap in the numbers below the bars at the beginning, the middle and the end. The bars where these gaps appear are two thin bars close together. These bars are the number 6. Look at something beside you with a barcode and you will see the 666. This could be coincidence but the very nature of the mark is to label you and make you controllable, very much like a barcode.

I believe the mark will be a visible mark on one's body, the forehead or hand. If you don't have the mark you will not be able to purchase or sell.

I am still convinced that the mark will be a microchip. People are already accepting these things and having them put into their children. Not many yet, but Verichip are already advertising the chip as a way of keeping track on children. It doesn't take too much of a leap of imagination to see that the chip can also be programmed to include personal info. I believe that it will be used as a personal ID system linked to various organisations, banks etc. Eventually, in a cashless society, this will be used as credit cards / ID are today and without one you won't be able to buy or sell.

Recent tests have proved that in order to be at optimum effeiciency, the chip should be placed on an area where the skin is relatively thin. Where are those places ? - The hand and the head. The interesting thing is that as far as the hand is concerned, the right hand and just under the hairline of the forehead are also perfect places to place a biothermal charging unit (a kind of battery charged by human energy).

Also, it has been mentioned that some people are allergic to the chip, making this part of the Bible even more valid:

Of course, that could also mean that something causes the lithium batteries charging the chip to explode - EMP possibly ? That would certainly cause problems for anyone having one in their skin.

Theneo, explain... you say that we are already marked? how can we possibly tell? if it was and object (eg. a biochip or something) then wouldnt there be proof? and then notice that in the bible it uses terms as the mark of his NAME and the mark of the beast... shouldnt there be some physical mark?
if that is the case then ...yea but i guess that could be right if it isn't physical but mental.

mmm glan, i'm not quite sure who would be the antichrist, my thoughts weould be that probably (probably that is) wont find it out...unless its god's will for that "wise person" (as said this takes wisdom etc).

So basically, the refered to BEAST (being of a value of 666, or carbon based) is actually referring to HUMANS.

In a nutshell, WE (Mankind) ARE the beast, or at least it could be interpreted as the BEAST is a human being, rather than a mystical/superstitious being.

Humans are both the beast and the godhead. (if one believes such things)
We are capable of godlike wisdom and power, but also unbelievable horror. (yin-yang, light and dark, good and evil, happy or sad etc etc.

A condradiction, dicotamy. BUT if 666 is a reference to Humanities' carbon based physicality, then according to scripture, GOD HASTO BE THE BEAST TOO! (steady now all you lambs, think about it...)

conventional contemporary Christianity tells us that God built us in his OWN IMAGE, so if that were the case, it is a short leap to presume 'God' too was a carbon based entity, hence...a beast also.

numbers 1 through 10 have a biblical meaning applied to each. For example, #7 is considered the number of perfection. While number 6 is considered imperfect, or short of God, (forgive me, its been awhile, but I'm going from the gest. of what i recall, which though close, does fall a bit short of the definative, most interesting documentary i had seen)

anyway...Just as the God-head (Father Son Holy Ghost), satan will have his in the form of satan, the anti-christ and the false prophet..6-6-6...

Ok, you understand that the number is 666. However, the actual name will be the name of the beast and the mark is an emblem of some kind.

the number is not 666. while this is not going to sound intelligent, i watched a program a few years ago on the bible code.There is an actual computer that cracked the bible code, and according to the professor who worked with this program the number was not 666 for the number of the beast. I do not quite remember what number he said, but I remember he said six hundred and sixty six was not the factual number.How this got translated this way???Not sure.Perhaps thye person who translated it didnt quite understand correctly.

666 has nothing to do with the the so called Bible Code presented by Michael Drosnin a couple of years back. This code is based on simple ELS algorithms used on the original Hebrew Torah written without punctuation and spaces, just a long serpent of Hebrew consonants.

However there is indeed some discourse as to 666 being the correct reading of the number of the Beast. The controvercy is based on certain old Revelation MSs using 616 instead of 666. Either way they both probably refer to two different ways to write NERO in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.

As per your question: What if we do not accept the mark?...Rev.13:16 does not appear to me to give a choice. I too believe we are already marked...or not. I would advise against reading "a part" of something and perceiving the "Whole". Seems to me one must read the "whole" in order to correctly perceive the "whole". One can not read a chapter of a book and claim to understand the book; One must read the entire book to understand the book! Blessings

If you don't take the mark, you will not be able to get or receive medical help, you want be able to buy food, pay for elec. gas and so on.
He wants you to be totally dependent on him and him alone. By not taking the mark, you will eventually die.
I am a Baptist, if you attend Sunday School it teaches you this. Or at least our does. Hope this helps
