HELP. "His number is Six hundred threescore and six"

Rev 13:16-17

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Is this an actual MARK, or is it a metafore?
Does anyone know what happens if we DON'T accept it?

"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
and six"

Does anyone know how to properly calculate the Mark of the Beast?

That is easy.. math in a word form. since threescore is actually 3 times twenty that is 60.

in that phrase? so it would be "His number is 600 60 and 6

and means in addition to so you add 600+60+6
which is six hundred sixty-six

Six hundred - threescore - six (A score is counted as 20)
600 - 3x20=60 - 6

Now this is all done with the by hebrew Alphabet right?

um but why does the hebrew alphabet have to do with numbers? like the level of math you learn in the 5th grade

I'm not really sure, that's why I'm asking.

Also, does everyone think it will be an actual mark, or just the way we think (our forhead), and the deeds we do (our right hand) ?

It was translated from that I believe. It doesn't take any knowledge of that now though as it's pretty cut and dry. As long as they translated the words "Six, Hundred, & ThreeScore" correctly then the rest is just simple math.

The mark though, the mark is interesting..is it a mental mark? Perhaps physical? Does anyone have ideas for what this mark is?

This is not the first time I'v heard about that. Never thought about the mouse thing. Very interestingI will look into that, but what if I'm left handed?.
