The breakthrough was worth 3 applause. I also gave Ketamine one since he actually had the answer very early on, but omitted "the" from the answer.
I'm also backing the request for the game to be officially re-comissioned. I think it's safe to assume that the powers that be will allow it unless they have a very good reason not to.

No one said that...

But it could be where they left off writing the clues.....

At present I have no inside info so I can't say for sure if this is a clue or not. I suspect not though. I checked out the possibility a little- I tried "nothing" "askmenoquestions" "tellyouwhat" etc but it seems more likely that the question was for some reason removed- perhaps during an attempt to revamp the game.

We also should be prepared for the possibility that if the prizes are no longer available, there would possibly be legal reasons for them to need to stall or even cancel the game in order to avoid owing somebody something they can't deliver. I have no way of knowing how likely or unlikely that is though.

I'd be happy to finish this, prizes or no prizes.

btw, I can't get past the NATO page. goldentriangle.html doesn't work for me, and I did everything properly like clearing cookies and starting from the start again.

The answer is thegoldentriangle not just goldentriangle.

if it were just goldentriangle, ketamine would have had it months ago.

They do go together, but they are not the clue. they are just part of the game interface, where the clue is normally given. Except in this case. I think this is where they left off at, in writing the clues, or as TheVagabond said, they could have removed it.
