I happen to be study Russian army martial arts (systema) I have learned to disarm armed attackers. I would, with one hand grab the barrel of the shotgun and pull it away from my face, with the other, I would punch him in the chin and knock him out for like 2 hours( by the way, I punch hard enough to REALLY break a jaw, so imagine what will happen to his chin. He'll be knocked out for at least 1 hour, because there are many nerves on the chin)
