Hi, it's good to be here

Hello, I'm new here too.
I'm female and from the UK, where I teach history to undergrads. I'm a born sceptic and always look for what's behind the story or quote and have been scanning the net for years searching for 'what really happened' (but, of course, there is never, it seems, a finite answer to anything). So I was really pleased to find this forum with so many discussions it would take me a lifetime to keep up with them all!
We are in the middle of moving home (to another country) at the moment, so my posts for the next few days will be very limited, but I hope to join in with a discussion or two and when I get back I hope to become an active member here.
