NEWS: London On High Alert After New Explosions..

It is still far too early to tell what has happened, but yeah, it does seem a little strange, a bit amatuer compared to the 7/7 attacks.

live reports:

White English guy reported to have carried the rucksack on train at warren street station.

Eye witness just said on the BBC that it was "an English guy" that was with the rucksack that exploded.

It seems there have been four incidents:

Hackney Road - No 26 bus small bomb - no injuries reported.
Oval Underground - no explosion but evacuated, ambulance services called at 12:45 no reported injuries
Warren Street - Nail Bomb exploded on underground 1 person reported injured ambulance services called at 12:38
Shepherds Bush - unspecified incident - no injuries reported

Most tube lines re-opening now. Apart from Northern line, Hammersmith and city line.

Warren st incident seems like a man carrying at rucksac that started smoking and then caught fire.

Could it be the BNP? Their boss was in court today on race hate charges and their founder died last week.

Ya it dont seem right, These reports dont fit the 1st type of incident. I think its a bunch of morons trying to get thier kicks on scaring other..

Or as someones sig pointed out.. "7/25/2005 ???????" So they may be testing the waters so to speak. But I dont think this would be the same group.. Why you ask, they arent running any drills the same time this is going down..

I sincerely hope it is not the start of something larger but i personally think that it wasn't intended to cause casualties as there were no explosives only detonators. I think it was just to say look, we're still here and we can attack you any time we want. doubtful they will get away with it as so many cameras in the tube that they will have been seen on cctv and will now be caught.

Report of University college hospital near Warren Street being sealed off with armed police guarding it. Speculating that one of the bombers might of gone there after being injured in an explosion.

Just to make it clear. There were no "explosions", just loud bangs.

No explosives were involved.

Sky news saying there is explosives on the bus.

Thats second hand by the way. Any one confirm?

Early reports are that these were dummy nailbombs, that is a pack made to look like a nail bomb but missing the explosives.
The explosions appear to be detonator caps that went off.

Stations on Victoria/Hammersmith and City Lines/Northern Line are closed. Shep Bush/Oval/Warren Street stations evacuated.

Armed police have entered the University College Hospital near Warren St, suspected that one of the bombers has been taken there.

Men in NBC suits entering the stations......not good!
