BREAKING -- Sky News is reporting explosions in the London Underground, incidents in three different stations....

Reports indicate a nail bomb at Warren Street, plus other incidents at Oval and Sheperd's Bush stations. The sound of gunfire was reported, but police say that may have been sound of detonators.

Sky News
A series of incidents have been reported near Warren Street, Oval and Shepherd's Bush stations on the London Underground.

The station have been evacuated. Smoke was seen coming from a train.

Speaking to Sky News, one witness who was travelling on one of the trains said a man told him that a passenger carrying a rucksack made an exclamation and then the rucksack exploded.

The witness said: "The doors connecting my carriage to the next burst open and people rushed in. "There was a smell of smoke."

This is horrible. I hope this isn't as bad as the last attack.

Yes reports of a mail bomb, one gentleman apparently had a bag on which started smoking.

Report just in "Emergency Services have been called to three London underground stations and an incident on a bus".

I am wondering if this is going to be bigger then 7/7.

Doesn't sound like it. Latest thing I heard was 3 detonators, no actual explosives... (not sure about the bus though)

This pretty sad and tragic to hear and read.

What disgusts me is wondering how many of those that claimed that the UK government was behind the 7/7 bombings, and the various twisted reasons given for the UK government doing such, are going to explain why these minor bombings and/or attempts have occurred. Undoubtedly, this will be blamed on Blair and the UK government. Some people really ought to rethink their rhetoric. Shameful. :shk:

The events happening today just do not fit the conspiracy playbook.
Quite sad to see this happening just 14 days after the first tragic events...quite sad.
My thoughts are with many in the UK today.

2 weeks later, more attacks. Nothing concrete so far, but supposedly there was someone seen running from the scene of one of the locations.

Mostly police coming up here in Totenham Ct Rd. I saw the bomb squad truck and some fire engiens, but not to many amulances, so it dosen't seem to be as serious as the last one.

Nothing is confirmed yet.

The bus explosion apparently blew out all of the windows, but there weren't any injuries according to the conductor.

The tube has gone to code amber, so all tubes evacuated at next station...

live on BBC tv : a woman on the train at the oval is reporting that she saw a man leave a bag then run out of the station chased by passengers who were shouting `stop him`.

Seems to be the case, Sky News is interviewing a guy confirming someone dumped a bag then fled. A black rucksack. This supposedly happened over an hour ago? Would expect a bit more info before now.

Hopefully the will be able to gather clues from the packages where the detonator did not trigger the main explosive.

No casualties, thankfully.

I wonder if this is a copy-cat group, doesn't seem as sophisticated as previous attacks in the UK or elsewhere.

Seems weird.

One casualty reported.

What seems weird is looking at the BBC map of where the incidents occured. After seeing the 7/7 map over and over it's very familiar and although these are in different places the positioning is so similar. 3 tube stations and 1 bus. Exactly the same !

This is either a copy cat hoax or an attempt to do the same as 7/7.

One person seen running from one of the tube incidents.

It just seems strange.

A man threw a bag onto a train and ran, smoke then came from the bag.....
Could it be chemicals?????

And i think this is the beginning of something bigger coming later in the day!

A fore warning???
I hope not!

It could be a decoy.

Small explosions to lure emergency workers into the stations.

Sad and worrying I think like that, but you got to investigate every avenue.
