If you guys have heard of Bill Hicks, you may have heard a routine he did about how the government was under control. If so, please share your opinions of him and his routines.

I love his routine. I think he was perhaps the best, if not top three, comedians of any generation. But I am failing to see a conspiracy yet. Please post a little more. You have at least two members who would be willing to talk at length about the legend...myself and BillHicksRules.

Hicks was a very funny man, his material was taken straight from US politics, and he got his point across through humor.
Did the US do away with him? I doubt it he was small potatoes. Cancer I believe was the cause of his demise.
I have about 100 of his routines in mp3 format if any one is interested.

Kevin Booth Talks About Bill Hicks:

Kevin Booth was Bill’s closest friend, and partner in many adventures. Kevin was also Bill’s producer and his business partner. Together, they began something called Sacred Cow Productions, which today, can be found at the website listed immediately below. Unfortunately, Bill died before the Internet had become a daily part of many of our lives --- and because of this, Bill never had the chance to see Sacred Cow become an online force for truth in comedy:

Bill Hicks Quotes

I have never seen two people on pot get in a fight because it is fliping IMPOSSIBLE. "Hey, buddy!" "Hey, what?" "Ummmmmmm...." End of argument..

I love talking about the Kennedy assassination. The reason I do is because I'm fascinated by it. I'm fascinated that our government could lie to us so blatantly, so obviously for so long, and we do absolutely nothing about it. I think that's interesting in what is ostensibly a democracy. Sarcasm - come on in. People say "Bill, quit talking about Kennedy man. It was a long time ago, just let it go, alright? It's a long time ago, just forget it." I'm like, alright, then don't bring up Jesus to me. As long as we're talking shelf life here...

Hicks was hilarious...

However he was never famous enough to warrent a conspiracy. People who had more eyes on them have said the same things as him. He was just a man who's life was cut short by nature... and smoking... and probably coke.

Bill Hicks was a funny guy. I really enjoyed his routine with Rush Limbaugh in the bath tub and the other right wingers trying to bathe him.

As to a conspiracy, though, ya got me.

I loved Bill Hicks... so ahead of his time imo.

anyway - i dont know if there was any conspiracy against him, other than nature's conspiracy to give him brain cancer (then allow Denis Leary to basically steal his schick...)

How stupid do you have be to not notice this!!! He's talking about it in your face and you just laugh, thats it laugh at the billions your government waste on taxpayers money so the rich man can become richer, JFK assissnation was the biggest conspiracy theory in his time and if he was around now i'm sure he would be funnier than most comedians on the PLANET!

Brain cancer???? Try pancreatic cancer. To be honest from what I have seen or heard from him, he wanted to die. He had seen to much bad and just gave up the ghost.

news.bbc.co.uk...
In the late 80s, he became a familiar face on TV shows like Tonight With David Letterman, and by the early 90s, he hit the big time. But his career, and life, were cut short; he died from pancreatic cancer on 26 February 1994, at the age of 32.

I just cannot believe in a war against drugs when they've got anti-drug commercials on TV all day long, followed by, 'This Bud's for you' - Bill Hicks
See the conspirary yet???

I was refering to the routine in which he talks about how after a presidentis elected, he is taken into a smoky back room and shown New Kennedy assassination footage. Then the "elected" is asked, "Any Questions?"

Bill Hicks was awesome. There was NOTHING he would not discuss on stage. If you've got file-sharing, try a search for the "Bill Hicks Loses it" show. It is the funniest/oddest comedy set I've ever seen. He gets right up in the face of audience members and calls them idiots and retards. He tells security to escort a woman out because she's "a moron". Who else could get away with that but a totally honest dude? The people loved him.

As for his cancer, well, others have been given cancer on purpose, right? I've read tales where cancer was supposedly used as an assassination technique. I wouldn't be surprised if he got taken out. One determined man can wreck a lot of evil.

Bill Hicks was a great thinker and has helped me see through the BS of day-to-day life like no other. His clarity of vision and ability to analyse situations in a completely logical way could have led to him becoming a revolutionary of sorts I think. The nearest I can think of to any conspiracy involving him though would be the time he was axed from The Late Show With David Letterman in 1993 for using 'offensive material'. See this link for the story:

www.newyorker.com...

America is supposed to be a democracy, and part of being a democratic country involves allowing the freedom of speech. Bill Hicks just wanted people to open their minds and start thinking for themselves instead of believing every word that comes from the news reporter's mouth...

The conspiracy then is how the American government and TV networks control the thoughts of the population through censorship and advertising.

clap, clap, clap Now we're getting somewhere. He did say some mad $hit, one joke caught me him was what he said about Mr Bush (snr) being the whimp president ( I don't think anyone would call him that now), I wonder if his change had anything to do with the ever so secret Skull and bones society???

yep long shall he be missed. Much shall he be mourned. Remarkably much of what he said is actually more relveant today than ever.

btw - I remember that he was either a friend of Alex Jones of a friend of his in Austin Texas was a friend of Alex Jones - you may want to dig a little deeper into that.

But certainly ODD that a man who seriously could have WOKEN MILLIONS to the 'way things are' DIED at the peak of his energies!

I know this post is older, but I wanted to encourage you guys to compare face photos of Alex Jones and Bill Hicks. See what you think. Also, remember he's on tape saying that (when Rolling Stone mentioned him as a great US comic after he'd been on tour out of the country for a year) if that's any sort of indication as to how he should conduct his business then maybe he'd disappear in order to become a bigger star in the US...

Food for thought

Go and do the research folks. Look at what the odds are for a 32 year old to die of pancreatic cancer. Find a case history of something similar. But good luck finding it. Either you believe in enormous coincidences or you accept that biological weapons exist.
