Stark Contrast - BIDEN vs TRUMP Interaction With Military GOLD STAR Families.

U.S. Presidents always meet with families of Military heroes, when a tragedy claims their lives. These are known as "GOLD STAR" families.

President/Candidate BIDEN and President/Candidate BIDEN have opposite approaches when interacting with these mourning families.

This is how President JOE BIDEN interacts with families of U.S. military heroes who gave their lives for America. Parents who lost their children when a suicide bomber blew them up on August 26, 2021 at the Kabul Afghanistan airport, tell ABC News about their interaction with President Joe Biden and his administration...

"The administration didn't seem to know our story," Shamblin said. "They didn't seem to know Nicole's name, our names.

People from the military certainly knew our story, Nicole's name, our names. And that was expressed to us in a way that felt very genuine and loving.

But when it came to the people in suits, it felt disingenuous and hollow."

"First, President Biden called me 'Ms. Lopez,' and I was not 'Mrs. Lopez,'" Briseno said.

"And he just talk[ed] about his son and said how much he knows or he understand[s] how we feel because he lost his kid and he didn't feel -- he didn't know how we feel because he was there with his son when he passed. We didn't have the privilege. We received our kids in a casket!"

Former President (2024 Candidate) Donald J. Trump interacting with the same families. Even though President Joe Biden's indecisiveness was responsible for the suicide bomber being able to carry out his attack, Donald Trump was also a Commander-In-Chief of these heroes.

IMO, CANDIDATE BIDEN sees the military as a tool...or an annoyance...I'm not sure which.

CANDIDATE TRUMP sees the military as part of what made and keeps America the Greatest Nation on Earth.

I remember how the media vilified Trump for spending Thanksgiving with our troops-saying it was just a photo-op for personal glory and adulation, an unbelievable waste of taxpayer money. They said his presence put himself and thousands in harms way.

At least there's no danger of our current POTUS ever being in harms way....unless the SS doesn't get the bike path cleared in time or a rogue beachball gets past his guards.

It's a compare/contrast thread. There's my comparison's to Biden's handling of Gold Star families. It seems kind of disingenuous for the OP to forget about them. It's almost like they're trying to use the suffering of Gold Star families to score political points.
