Is there a newsletter or app that notifies you when a holiday is coming up?

I googled, but couldn't find anything. Or any other type of reminder. The days where people usually don't work.

Calendars do a pretty good job, if you get the right one ofcourse…..

Just peruse the greeting card aisle at any store.

You will get a 2 to 3 month preview of upcoming holidays...

Do you really want that? I had an official Boy Scout planning calendar once. It covered all religions to help plan around the holidays. There were at least 6 on each day of the year and some days had dozens.

Your calendar on your phone or PC can handle all that now.

Do you celebrate International Gorilla Suit Day? How about National Cat Day? Talk Like a Pirate Day?

That's what I was going to say. They never need charging, so they save you money. Once you've purchased one, it lasts a whole year without any other costs. Not only that, they work and have worked perfectly for centuries. What's not to like about them?

And you can get them with different themes and pictures on them. I get the official Beatles calendar every year and get to see John, Paul, George and Ringo 365 (or 366) days a year.
