A trucker friend sent me this from FB and did a little digging. Seems to be among other things like dozens of food processing fires, sky high gas and goods cost, and all the other craziness we are seeing this could be bad news.

Do you know what DEF fluid is? It's Diesel Exhaust Fluid. Every Diesel truck that has been made since 2010 is required to use it. It's a product made of 67% Urea fertilizer and 33% distilled water. Every diesel truck you see driving down the road today has to have this product to drive. The engines won't start without it. There are regulators inside the engine that mix DEF with the Diesel to reduce Diesel emissions. That's the purpose of DEF.
Right now, Russia is the largest exporter of Urea by a wide margin. Qatar is second. Egypt and China are Tied for 3rd. Both Russia and China have decided to no longer export Urea. On top of that, India is the largest manufacturer of Urea in the world even though they consume most of what they make. What little they would export..........they no longer do. They are now stopping the exportation of any and all Urea minus a deal they just cut with Sri Lanka.
What does this mean for you and me? Well, first, the United States imports most of it's Urea fertilizer. We are the third largest importer in the entire world. We depend on other countries to eat, drive and ship our products.
Secondly... Flying J is the largest Service provider for Truckers around the Unites States. I'm sure you've seen their massive gas stations when traveling around the country. Flying J gets 70% of their DEF fluid from shipments via Union Pacific railroad. UP has single user access to the Fertilizer plants that Urea/DEF fluid comes from. No other rail provider has access to these distribution points. This means Flying J can't just go around Union Pacific. Union Pacific is in charge....for a reason I'm gonna mention in a few paragraphs.
Flying J provides 30% of all DEF consumed in the United States. UP has told Flying J to reduce their shipments by a whopping 50%. And if they do not comply then they will be completely embargoed. That would in effect bankrupt FJ. This means that 15% of all DEF consumed by truckers in the US is no longer available at the largest travel service center for the entire trucking industry.
Rome rotted from the inside out. It was easily invaded because it was occupied with internal problems. It appears we have discovered the Trigger. DEF fluid. If this holds up, DEF shortages will be the catalyst that causes food shortages in the coming months. Not only is there a shortage of fertilizer to grow crops in drought-stricken states (See Kansas' drop in wheat production for 2022)....but....now it looks like, unless the Federal Government intervenes via the Defense Production Act, ...which I am no longer confident they will....there is gonna be an absolute massive shortage of trucking in the coming months.
There simply isn't going to be DEF fluid sufficient to keep the engines running and moving. Home Depot is now limiting the amount of DEF you can buy in their stores.
I would think long and hard about the decisions you are making right now. Where you live. What you spend money on. How you prepare. This is so real that the CEO of Flying J, Shameek Konar was summoned to a Surface Transportation Board hearing to give them all this info.
From what I'm reading....Blackrock is the majority shareholder of Union Pacific railroad. How is that important? Americas biggest fertilizer producer is CF Industries. Their largest shareholder is Blackrock. Blackrock controls the fertilizer industry in the U.S.. Union Pacific has exclusive rights to distribution points of fertilizer. Urea is fertilizer. Flying J needs Urea/DEF. Blackrock is controlling everything.
The Chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute is Tom Donilon, President Obama’s former National Security Advisor. Tom Donilon’s brother, Mike Donilon is a Senior Advisor to Joe Biden. Tom Donilon’s wife, Catherine Russell, is the White House Personnel Director. Tom Donilon’s daughter, Sarah Donilon, who graduated college in 2019, now works on the White House National Security Council.
It appears Blackrock is spearheading the dismantling of the US system on behalf of the Globalists. And the first domino they are pushing over is the energy sector. They are using DEF to get the party started. This is one sector of the biggest downfalls in political repercussions this country has ever faced…

I recalled a train carrying fertilizer de railed and oddly it was owned by Union Pacific which was mentioned above.
Source

So Russia, China, India are not exporting and the EPA is all over the US companies like Mosaic and others.

Larry Fink the CEO of Blacrock who is one of the largest investors in Up said this

The asset manager has previously acknowledged the U.S. and China’s “complex” economic relationship. It has also said it believes globally integrated financial markets can “provide people, companies, and governments in all countries with better and more efficient access to capital that supports economic growth around the world.”

Blackrock owns large swaths of FOX News, CNN, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, J&J and is about to cross the 10 Trillion dollar mark for managed assets. (makes sense now why all media is ignoring 2000 mules)

Lastly the Biden admin relied heavily on Fink and Blackrock when searching for economic and financial advisors.

No matter where you look the downfall of the US is being curated by this admin and it's friends with deep pockets.

Since the regulators are a fairly newer regulation, couldn't they be modified or removed? Just a thought since I know absolutely nothing. But it seems like there would be a logical work around for this issue.

DEF lasts quit a long time between fill-ups.

like everything else, someone will have a work around, just have to trick the sensors somehow. I wonder if horse pee will work?

plenty of anecdotal reports about shortages in every sector of the economy...its all going according to plan. Southernprepper on YT has been passing on info from his sources. The doom porn is strong, but as we have seen when it comes to conspiracy theories, many have been proven true. The MSM won't be doing their due diligence on reporting this info either.
Brandon did say we are heading into a cold dark future...I'm a believer. Get your house in order.

That article got the ratio wrong, def is roughly 2/3 water 1/3 urea.

There are electronic modules available for most systems that eliminate the need for it, you remove the particulate filter, unplug the emissions computer and plug the module in series with it. The module takes the place of all the sensors and informs the computer that every thing is 100% cool.

Not legal of course, but it takes care of the massive pain in the ass that is tier 4 diesel engines in construction equipment and tractors etc.

The same can be applied to on road trucks, but those tend to get emissions checked by the authorities, so its a bit more risky to do.

Water works, just saw a guy do this in a video in a diesel pickup turck. Truck ran fine and DEF sensor went off, he filled the DEF tank from a garden hose.

I thought the mad hatter in charge of the USA said it's a wonderful transition to reach the Global unity...of course it's deliberate.

Yes it is by design.

Biden: May 2002: "Here’s the situation. And when it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,"

Also, remember DAVOS and enviornmentalists want to see as many nasty carbon using parasitic humans dead as quickly as possible to save Mother Earth.

Biden slipped and the quotes out of DAVOS about necessary deaths to save the planet tell us peons all we need to know about those who rule the world - and we are letting them.

COVID didn't do the job they hoped to reduce the population, so expect another crises to lock workers in their homes creating an ever larger distribution and production chain crises. I think they are counting on the Vaccines to help their plan to save the world (not people, the elite find the peon masses to be simply disgusting piles of goo, but Gaia).

The current people ruling the world will do absolutely anything to get rid of as many disgusting human beings as they possibly can without the ignorant masses realizing what they are doing. They will try to put on a public face of concern and caring while cheering every death as a win for Gaia and environmentalism.

Yes, I am saying that the people at DAVOS and the elitist politicians of the world right now are in their hearts genocidal cheerleaders. Why do you think they won't say anything about China's genocidal actions that are done so publicly?

The future is so bright I gotta wear shades!

With the Biden Regime in charge, slowly but surely the US is being crippled.

The sanctions will ultimately penalize the US.

You can use certain washer fluids in a pinch, and if there's a problem with the DEF system in the truck, it can be bypassed until it can be repaired, like if you're waiting for parts. So if there is a shortage, the system can be bypassed with no problems. We easily ran four or five days per fill up on a 20 gallon tank, we could push it into a week if we really needed to.

DEF is one of my least favourite things!

My 2011 Chevrolet 3500 was a nightmare until the warranty period expired. After that I paid $4k to have it removed. It was replaced with a high performance exhaust system and a Bully Dog control module.

This was what the dealership finally suggested after my 5th visit. The system virtually stranded me on a few occasions, once in the North West Territories 300 miles south of Inuvik.

The DEF tank had no level indicator so I had to carry extra everywhere I went. When I refilled it it constantly warned me that it was poor quality.

If the quality is poor or you run the tank out the truck speed is governed to 50 miles per hour for a while and then it reduces the speed further to 10mph!

I used to get about 16 miles to the gallon and now I can squeeze 24 mpg with the module set to “economy tow” on the highway.

DEF systems are horrible! There should be a shortage of the systems themselves.

You're lucky it only derated to 50. If ours derates, due to a bad sensor, or being out of DEF, or whatever, it goes to creep mode, and we MIGHT get five mph if we're lucky.

The commercial systems are different than the ones for personal use. By dropping us that much, it means we have to get towed a lot more, which means $1,000 tow bills to go a mile or two. The entire system was pushed on the industry by BS "research" in California, which ironically, bit them in the ass a few years ago. A truck driving along with bad DPF filters started a number of large wildfires when the filters started throwing bits off as he drove.

This is like catalytic converters. At one time they actually did something. With the improvements in refining gasoline they actually do very little now. If you mention getting rid of them, you get attacked by the environmental mental cases. The manufacturers of converters donate heavily to the environment wack jobs and to politicians.
