😂... good one.. though there may be a grain of truth to it. Many humans accused of being mentally ill are simply reacting to being baited. Seen it happen.. some people just enjoy head games and seeing people get mad. Had what I thought was an online friend do that to me. All head games and manipulation until I would get mad. Then he would try and say I was the unstable one. He lied to others about me,and I let him have it again. Needless to say we don’t speak to each other anymore and I don’t miss him one bit. 😂

I was actually referring to the fish, like, as a joke. Y'know, fish/bait. Wasn't meant to be taken outside anything but that silly 'dad' joke. Like the ones I always do at home.

yeah.. I know how it was meant.. just a corny word joke.. hence the laughing.

But the irony of it to me was that there was truth to it.. because of what I have witnessed as well as experienced.

Sorry if I put a damper on your perfectly good dad joke by comparing it to real life.. 😑

It doesn’t really matter where it happened DOE.. I’m grateful it’s over.. and it was another life lesson in being cautious who you trust. This dude actually had me reading about psychopaths and how they operate at some point ...😂..He seemed so nice at first... but it was just show. He was also one to whine a lot and wanted to be molly coddled all the time.. which is simply not my style.😜

Meanwhile back at home I'm preparing tonight's supper. Cooking foot long beef ribs in a garlic and pepper sauce. Lightly salted. In the oven just now for about 2 hours at low temp and will ramp it up in time for dinner.

While that's slowly cooking I will be preparing News Years dinner for tomorrow which will be different. A bit of a Northern Territory favorite from Darwin. A seafood Laksa with a marinara of sea produce but includes extra prawns/shrimp. One of my better dishes. Love seafood.

Beer o'clock now. Done the dishes.

For better news both insurance companies have been in touch and we will have our car repaired from the fires (8,100) and a reconstruction firm arriving to rebuild the outbuildings. Late xmas present coming in the form of a payout to replace our contents losses including machinery.
