Bob Mueller was not very involved in "his" investigation.

I read the Mueller report, and it doesn't say what Bill Barr said it said. It did not exonerate Trump, and it didn't clear him of "collusion", nor did it clear him of obstruction.

The report didn't find any collusion between Trump and anyone. But it did find non-prosecutable obstruction, because sitting Presidents will not be prosecuted by the DOJ. Mueller left the ultimate decision on any Obstruction charge up to William Barr.

Barr said the President is innocent.

Helps to have friends in high places. Tis the way of the world.

If Democrats want to make the Mueller Report findings one of their Impeachment Articles, it's within their right to do so. There's no limit to the number of articles, ya know.

Horowitz was expected to go easy on this report,
as he did in 2018. He is a Democrat and that hasn't
changed.

Like Mueller, he only has so much power. The DOJ
has already opened a criminal investigation into
the the actions of several people.

Mueller and Horowitz are just fallible humans.

Since when was Mueller tasked with exonerating Trump?

He was suppose to prove that Trump was working with Putin or Russians and to prove that Trump somehow duped the American electorate and maybe was even a Russian agent....remember?

The really neat thing is that I.G. Reports are based on EVIDENCE. Every claim in Horowitz's report will be backed by evidence appendixes.

His 2018 report was damning to the FBI, but his IG Executive Summary didn't mesh with the reality that his report spelled out, in detail.

It was sort of like the Democrats are doing with the Trump Impeachment hearings. Their summary does not match the facts presented by 1st-hand witnesses. (Dumb dims only called 1 first-hand witness. Sondland.)

You're lying. We all read the report as well, nothing of the sort was apparent enough to warrant any of those accusations.

Mueller played white gloves manager, while the Democrat henchmen weaved the entire case against Trump.

They operated under a wide swath umbrella when considering Obstruction of Justice because there was NO RUSSIAN COLLUSION, as stated by Mueller himself.

However, the DOJ perceptions and views of Obstruction is more narrow in this regard and thus didn't meet those standards.

Mueller reports to Barr, his boss and that's that. Barr ruled NADA and thus the report is DONE.

You have nothing, so instead of clutching the last vestiges of a doomed investigation, you should probably be helping other leftist register to vote as that would be a much more meaningful activity for you.

A "false flag" event would definitely detract from an IG Report that does not result in any "actions" from the DOJ (Barr/Durham), because 90% of the U.S. media would focus on the "false flag". Particularly if it's a really big one, worthy of multiple days of coverage.

BUT...if DOJ ACTIONS accompany the Horowitz report, no event (short of WWIII) will be able to hide those actions, because they will be carried out over a span of months. (Criminal Investigations, or Arrests and Court Appearances, or a Special Prosecutor appointed.)

If Sessions hadn't foolishly recused himself, Horowitz wouldn't have been able to whitewash his June 2018 report.

But Rosenstein didn't mind. He might have helped write the summary, in fact. (Rumor at the time)

Something like that, I can not imagine that Brenner, Clapper, and all the others have played their last card.
I do not know what kind of shenanigans they will pull but the "whistleblower" move is not working and the clock is ticking.

They are boxed in a corner.

No evidence of Trump/Russian collusion...

That's not what the Mueller report said.

Mueller then didn't make a finding one way or the other on obstruction, but left it up to his boss to determine.

That is not what Robert Mueller stated, or wrote.

Which Mueller then agreed with.

Robert Muller wrote 2 letters to William Barr stating that he had problems with the way Barr had characterized and misrepresented his team's findings.

Where the hell are you getting your information from. You are completely off from what the mueller report and his testimony stated. You must be reading things into things to make them bow down to your beliefs. MSM is creating fake interpretations for a reason, to make money. The people who read that stuff and believe it and parrot it are not profiting from the deception like the media is.

Then why didn't he clearly define the problem. He didn't. He was very vague and elusive about what he thought he "thought" about it. He also took his rock and skipped over half the pond on how all this got started in the first place.

He had no answer for it. Out of his "purview" he said multiple times. How could it be out of his purview. He would have to know when an event started to even get to the outcome. Ever heard of a physics equation without a starting point. any data would be worthless without knowing how the force manifested against Trump. He had no clue. Like the big bang theory, It just happened.

Rosenstein also signed one of the FISA applications.

Time is short on this one, and for some reason Poor Lisa feels
the need to bemoan her innocence. Seems odd for someone
who did nothing wrong and with a report that is supposed
to fizzle. Maybe just maybe she is in trouble?

It did, but collusion isn't a crime.

But it did find non-prosecutable obstruction, because sitting Presidents will not be prosecuted by the DOJ.

In other words, the Mueller report did find obstruction. Mueller clearly tossed the ball to Congress.

Barr said the President is innocent.

Barr made a judgment call on Trump's "intent", saying that he acted out of justified frustration, because of the witch hunt, when he obstructed justice.

a reply to: fringeofthefringe
Since Trump, and Bill Barr, claimed that the report exonerated him. "No collusion, No obstruction".

Also, since the report clearly stated that the report did not exonerate Trump, only that DOJ policy forbid Mueller of indicting a sitting president, which is why Mueller clearly tossed the ball to Congress, in his report.

Apparently you did not read the report. You appear to be the one lying.

The Mueller report was a damning indictment against Trump, outlining several incidents of Trump and his campaign "colluding", and no less than 10 incidents of Trump obstructing justice.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Perhaps if you restate your questions, more specifically?

Also, this thread isn't about the Mueller report. There are lots of threads on that. This thread is about Barr''s rejection of IG Horowitz' report. I merely commented that he rejected the findings of the Mueller report too.

The member you’re addressing is certainly not “lying” and “you all” accept what you hear in your chosen media. Also, you don’t speak for anyone but yourself, so stop the fallacious forum gang crap arguments.

In point of fact, after 34 indictments and convictions of individuals and 3 companies, the Mueller investigation turned up plenty of evidence of criminal activity DIRECTLY related to the Trump Campaign and Russian interference in our Elections.

SO just stop the attempts to silence another member, k? Bring some facts ... like maybe you can cite sections of the report that say that Trump was found innocent of any crimes, oh, wait, the report SPECIFICALLY says the opposite, and explains why indictments were not brought, NOT because there was no collusion or obstruction of justice, but because the DOJ’s internal rules DO NOT PERMIT the indictment of a sitting President.

If anyone is LYING here, it’s sure as heck not anyone who says that the Mueller Report did not exonerate Trump.

I’m on the fence with trusting Barr. I want to see him prosecute Comey and I’m not so sure he’s going to. If he doesn’t, I would have issue with that. Comey’s a deep state plant, he doesn’t work for us the American people and he needs to be outed for the traitor he is. I’m still keeping faith that some justice will be delivered but not holding my breath.
