“If it were me, I'd check the soccer ball for listening devices and never allow it in the White House," Sen. Lindsey Graham tweeted. It turns out the ball, made by Adidas, does have a chip in it. The official Adidas Telstar was used during every game of the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Each one comes with a built-in communication chip."
"I'm on a mission to testify," said Alexandra Chalupa
“It’s clear Republicans are gaslighting the public by putting me on their list of witnesses,” she said. “It’s a bluff meant to smear and distract from Donald Trump’s impeachable offenses. I’m the last person Republicans want to testify publicly. My testimony would be especially damaging to Donald Trump, Paul Manafort and Vladimir Putin. The GOP knows this.”

COMAYAGUA, Honduras (AP) — The 3-year-old girl traveled for weeks cradled in her father's arms, as he set out to seek asylum in the United States. Now she won't even look at him.
After being forcibly separated at the border by government officials, sexually abused in U.S. foster care and deported, the once bright and beaming girl arrived back in Honduras withdrawn, anxious and angry, convinced her father abandoned her.
He fears their bond is forever broken.
"I think about this trauma staying with her too, because the trauma has remained with me and still hasn't faded," he said, days after their reunion.

A palace is flooded in Venice as a record high tide hits the Italian city, with water levels expected to reach or surpass 1.90 metres (six feet) according to the city's tide monitoring centre.
Venice was hit by the highest tide in more than 50 years late Tuesday, with tourists wading through flooded streets to seek shelter as a fierce wind whipped up waves in St. Mark's Square.
The exceptionally intense "acqua alta," or high waters, peaked at 1.87 metres (six feet) as the flood alarm sounded across the Italian city of canals, the tide monitoring centre said.
Only once since records began in 1923 has the water crept even higher, reaching 1.94 metres in 1966.
