We generally don't influence the politics of chickens and bacteria. And if these things are truly alien -- as in creatures who can travel between the stars with relative ease and can manipulate matter as they desire -- they would have so much power that they wouldn't need to pussyfoot around. We'd be living in pens.

We do. They are called homes, towns, cities and nations. Lots of wall and barricades up all over the place. When working on the farms it is usually left to the animals to sort their own stuff out. As a superior species we come along at times, maintain and tide things up, do what needs to be done to look after the flock, heard, swarm, field, ect. Keep industry and productivity running.

Yep. It is a complex one as it opens up a big gray zone on the mechanics of thought and being. Some investigations are taking down into the quantum zone. Something we still know so little about on a physical level. Some of it is getting worked out with find quarks and other parts. How it is all entangled with time and space and everything else is a big puzzle.

I understand deities as like a character in a book. When acting in a play it is like taking on deity. There are many out there, some good, some bad.

Well we would manipulate the conditions of an environment of a species of animal we created to test how it evolves and if we can improve on its evolutionary science. Like how in China they have created a pig the size of a polar bear to help with food shortages. If there was more intelligent energies around us and outwith our perceptions they could be studying our growth or they could be feeding off our emotional energies.
Many esoteric thought believes this, we are being manipulated for sure and not by blithering and stuttering politicians cause everyone with a touch of wisdom can see this. The question is by whom?
Like the OP says we know little about natural phenomenon never mind what's outside this blue globe but for me at present it's not aliens that are doind the manipulating but interdimensiinal entities that were here before us.

How much is deception and how much is delusion, I can't say. I know some people think they have been abducted by aliens and in some "abductee" cases there's apparently 0% deception and 100% delusion since the "abductee" is convinced they have been abducted even if professional investigators can find no independent evidence to confirm this. To the extent that some of your sources may have a profit motive, like books to sell, there's also a possibility of deception from such sources.

Anyway if you think intelligent aliens are on earth or interacting with earthlings, you have failed to meet your burden of proof demonstrating such, so that may be why you're getting some snarky replies suggesting that maybe the one perpetuating the deception here is you, naively believing sources which aren't credible and which have no proof of anything, and passing those unproven claims along to us as if they mean anything.

There were people who really believed in a god Zeus who threw lightning bolts. The fact that people believed in him and told stories about his superpowers is a testament to the human capacity for believing in unproven entities. Of course not that many people believe in Zeus anymore, but apparently people still want to believe in beings with superpowers and at least aliens sounds scientifically plausible until you look for scientific evidence supporting claims of aliens visiting earth and find there isn't any which is credible. There's Tsoukalos with the amazing hair, but he never has any credible proof either, so he's the butt end of this meme.



Your comments seem to infer that you'd prefer replies that fuel the delusions of your sources in order to be constructive, however I think it's more constructive to point out there's no scientific evidence for any aliens visiting Earth. Could aliens have visited in the past or be visiting now? We can't rule out the possibility, but there's just no scientific evidence supporting such a claim.

So what happened with STS-48 with the abrupt turn as something is shooting at it? The more recent Tic Tac from the Navy has good a good thrashing on these boards?

Delusion? Deception? Good commentary on it anyway. You want to stay in the shallow end of the pool where everything is black and white that is fine. For now I am interested at looking into those talking about these issues, better chance of finding some answers there.

Ufology needs to ask itself – why is Dr. Salla still given the benefit of the doubt? The serious study of the UFO phenomenon needs his kind of “methodology” –and the conclusions to which the blind acceptance of the word of men like William Cooper leads - like it needs a hole in the head.

This is a great point for everyone that attempts looking into these issues. There is a strong culture here on ATS that debunks, questions and raises doubts about any piece of the puzzle that is presented. For sure it is important to sort out the facts from the fiction, but where do we as an individual and community draw the line?

I do like a lot of Bob Lazar's early work. This video is just one of a few of his presentations, a lot of study and research has gone into his work. He does not come across as a fraud speaking gobbledygook. Does not make much sense to do all this for a fraud. Does make a lot of sense when looking into the infamous Roswell crash along with reports of other crashed UFO retrievals.

People that want to write of Bob because some of his paperwork as has been lost is their choice. I prefer to judge a man by his actions. Someone that has built there own rocket power car is worth listening to in my opinion. Could he be wrong? Could it be a psyop to throw off the Russians in R&D? Until this work is declassified or publicly replicated we have the doubt to live with. Until then I see Bob a lot closer to reality than further away from it.

I have come across a few presentations by William Cooper and worth looking into to cut through some of the controversy, uncertainty and confusion to maintain secrecy of the extraterrestrial presence.

Philip Corso was one on the ground when the Roswell crash went down. Publishing the book 'The day after Roswell' is bound to get some criticism in the current exopolitical environment. Lots of conflicting reports with many of the minor details around it all. Also have the alien secrecy trying to discredit the whole event.

For anyone to put 100% blind faith into anyone else talking about the alien influence is trouble. We all have our own understandings, perspective and narrative in trying to make sense of the unknown. We all make mistakes and exposed to misinformation of various forms. The truth is out there. Amongst all the lies and conflicts cloaking and destroying this world, natural selection will sort it out one way or another.
