Nobody knows what God wants. As far as I can tell the Bible was written by man. And no man is the spokesperson for God. It may be the height of human hubris to pretend to know the mind of God.

I think it is best not to judge others and to live our lives by example. Be nice to others the way you want others to be nice to you. It's very simple.

There's no grand conspiracy based on superstitious demons and evil angels lurking about. If man craps in his own bed God doesn't seem to care. It is therefore up to man to clean up his own crap.

Jesus was and still is God's spokesperson. He is referred to as the Logos in the good news of John. Logos means "Word." God's Word is his spokesperson. Jesus' words have been faithfully recorded in the Bible.
