What was not permitted was the unauthorized disclosure of sensitive investigative information, obtained during the course of FBI employment, in order to achieve a personally desired outcome. The OIG has provided this report to the FBI and to the Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility for action they deem appropriate.

Not looking good for the America's Conscience. Even all the other higher ups at the FBI understood those memos were FBI property and were "shocked and surprised" that Comey released them. He didn't even tell the FBI he had copies at home.

Comey is so honest and forthright, he even lies to himself to justify actions.

It's going to be a long muddy road that Mister Comey is going to be dragged through...... And it's all his own fault.

He was fired. He lost his job, his pension; he lost his reputation.

He lost everything.

So did Flynn, and he didn't commit treason. Comey is so self-delusional he'll probably file an appeal on his pension and win. He will continue to play the martyr until his dying day. Meanwhile Flynn had his life destroyed for nothing.

The Justice Department has already decided not to prosecute Comey, he hasn't even gotten a slap on the wrist and won't. I'm sure his donors have supplied him without enough donations to weather losing his job.

I agree that the Special Counsel investigation was a complete
ruse, Flynn was set up. We are looking at the greatest
miscarriage of justice in all of this, yes.

However, I respectfully disagree on Comey getting anything.

He is done, finished. This report removes any doubt there
was about his firing. He deserved to be fired, he had it
coming. Trump was right to fire Comey.
