Where did they put all the dirt?
There are the berms built in various places that would require a lot of dirt to create.

If you spread just one inch of dirt over the surface of the whole island, that would be quite a bit of dirt.

Then the whole island is surrounded by the ocean. What’s to prevent dirt from being dumped in there?

And it could be hauled away to another island on a barge, but who would do that when you can dump it in the ocean?
