WOW, I have 4 old Tape recorders, each 4 track, and that takes 3 tapes to hold 128 hours of 60s Music. How the heck does anyone tape 9200 hours ???

Old Tape recoders, each valve driven, each refurbished and protected as personal antiques - together with a set of 122 old Telephones, a Railway set plus old Radios. Yesteryear was better than mod tech. At least we had Treble on the Volume.

(Just ran Edit to simply explain how my old recorders are safely - Fingers crossed - carrying personal copies of all the original LPs & old 45s. Some now slightly scratched).

Automotive business has been ultra strange this year ... Usually working on models 2 years out ... 30 years in the business and it seems like they are either purposely slowing it down to hurt economy or crippled in criminal probes ... Almost as if the plan is no new models ... Something had upset the apple cart

I fund around $30m a month in indirect dealer auto/MH/TT/5ThW and application volume is still steady. Down from 12/24/36 months ago but not dropping off a cliff.

If there are pockets of problems, it’s certainly regional and not national.

This is from the sales/financing perspective. Manufacturing may be a different story.

Personally the manufactures got greedy (ahead of their skis) by offering future MY releases earlier and earlier. The 2021s will be out BEFORE we get to 2020.

Manufacturing/design end here, Ford has stopped making any future model cars, And internally restructuring, GM is definitely restructuring and an internal mess with a lot of white collar lay offs , Fiat Chrysler not sure, but they seem pretty discombobulated too. , Part suppliers same story... I am in Detroit area and all my buddies see the same slow down... My thought is they are trying to hurt Potus right around election time... They jumped the gun on electric autonomous vehicles and are in deep with each other ... Thus the impeachment talk lol. No one i Know is buying new.. lease yes .. buy no ..who can afford it ? After a 72 month loan the cars/trucks today are worn out LoL

Wanted to add all recalls and warranty work is passed on to the next model year pricing ... You can buy houses in Detroit cheaper than a loaded pickup... But it is the D lol

Interesting insight.

Same product for 100 years. Looks are different but same system. Electric - meh, 4 wheels, motor, external third party power source entirely unrelated to user.

I wonder if the natural order is making its way into that part of the system from the top down?
