Continued austerity, socioeconomic chaos, and stagnation by design, on the other hand, well those are indeed points of contention to consider.
We are part of a system and community with the infostructure and capacity to transport goods and people all over the planet in a mere matter of hours.
Can't go backward, the tracks simply don't run in that direction any longer.
