They call them "Polling Places" when you vote for a reason.

The good Polls (stripped of historical weighting) got it right in 2016. Trump had a 1 in 5 chance of winning and he hit.
The odds of hitting 1 in 5 twice though are much higher than 1 in 5 once.

I'd argue that when you create an environment where one large group feels too oppressed to voice their opinion, you render polls useless.
