Idk, if it was my daughter, I would probably focus less on a specific type and do well rounded training in basic strikes, blocking and grappling, mixed with more psychotic/dirty tactics.

She could say no, no, no then before or at the physical attack say ok then act like she's going to hug, then come in for the kiss and bite the attackers nose off, then thumb hook thr eyes out, then kick the attacker away.

My point really was that you need to disable the attacker as fast as possible, and there is quicker was to do it without grappling and risking being overpowered.

Not to sounds nuts above, but a random rape could turn deadly real fast and I'd want her to have the ability to neutralize the threat fast.

Freekin creeps, we shouldn't even need to go down this road.

Not as parents but maybe as a society.
When I was younger we taught girls to walk home from school in groups and a lot of time decent boys would escort them home.
When I was 15 I was asked by a guy to come a mile up the road at 430 in the morning so his 14 year old daughter did not have to stand outside and catch the bus at 445 to 515 by her self on a dark country road so every morning I would ride my dirt bike to her house and wait with her I didn't mind ,and I did it for free.

Now a days girls are taught that having a phone on you makes you safe and that never has been true by the time you get online with 911 you might have been killed before police responds.

All kids in pe should learn self defense

When I was a kid I never allowed a bully to harass me because I would stand up to them.
Kids are not taught hey if you see a kid getting beat on or a girl getting attacked best thing to do is run to them attackers hate witnesses.

I was raped several years ago, by a man I went on a date with. I was in my own home and my mother and my son were asleep upstairs. He was a man that I met ay work. He was big and he just pushed me down and started to remove my clothing, I said NO and scrumed around but it happened. I was abouy 38 at the time and I was not wanting anything that would wake my family. So I just decided to get it over and get him out of my house. I never said anything to anyone about it. Needlees to say I never went out with him again, and told him I was cutting him loose. He was lucky that I didn't ever say anything.

When. I was young rape use to be a big deal. It would get people very upset.

Recently the world has been inundated with so much rape and groups actually making a name for themselves as rapugees that people are numb to rape.

That's horrible, he should have never gotten away with that.

Can also blame the system an the laws too, where opening a lemonade stand is federal offence, and yet killing a little girl will get you into rehab.

Im in favor of a death penalty for rapists and anyone thinking of making any false accusations should be fined heavily will think twice. Won't solve it but it will definitely deter it, plus less weeds to pluck out.

one issue is we teach girls not to be raped and not for boys not to rape.
