I gotta say. This is pure insanity. Someone who would willingly vote for a serial killer (basically removing any doubts the man is a sociopath) over crossing the aisle to vote Democrat. Even IF the sensationalism in the OP is true, this is some next level amounts of partisanism.

(just saw you were responding to someone else) Could you point out what "sensationalism" did i post?... Because I included videos and other info which corroborates my statements on Beto, yet you want to claim "it's sensationalism"?...

BTW, this is not "next level partisanism..." This is the truth about Beto, he is going to continue with the same type of policies which have not stopped any criminals/crazies from murdering people. But I do find your "partisanism" about Hillary very telling. She actually committed crimes and you and the rest of the left want to turn a blind eye on the facts. Heck, Hillary and her husband have a long history of "being lucky" (if you want to call it that) with people who were about to testify about the Clinton crime family keep getting murdered...

I really don't think you understood a word of what I said in that post going by what you typed here...

"I can't vote for Beto! If he wins, they'll come for my guns, and socialist transgenders will be allowed to legally have sex on the streets, using my tax dollars!"

"I can't vote for Cruz! If I do that, abortion doctors will be lynched in the streets legally, and anyone who isn't white will have to wear a patch on their clothes for identification purposes."

Everyone cries about no term limits for Congress. Sure there are. Every four to six years you get to vote you people out and replace them. Yeah, it would mean voting for the evil people on the other side. People who are really no different than you or me. And how much would change if every sitting Republican in Congress was replaced by a Democrat and every sitting Dem was replaced by a Repub? Not much at all.

In the words of the great Kinky Friedman, "Never re-elect anybody."

I’m voting for Beto, because he isn’t Cruz.

So you lost again.
Were you one of the 6 people who turned up to his 'rally' last night?

So you’re argument is he is for gun control, against the wall, and anti trump. Whooptie do!! Those won’t win over any people interested in him. Why not point out real issues. Like that he’s a corporate stooge, has no real policies or plans thought out, or that he’s just another slick talker with no substance? Actual, actionable stuff that may change how people feel about him.

I was surprised myself when I heard that he was neck-and-neck with Cruz last month. I used to live in Fort Sill, OK which is 45 minutes drive from Wichita Falls. I've met plenty of Texans in my day. Though I understand that Houston is growing ever more liberal as the Hispanic population grows.

There are 2 Texas: urban and rural. Mostly, once you are outside of the big cities on the I35 corridor is gets very conservative. I live an hour north of Austin, and its definitely MAGA country here. Although there are Austin folk who find themselves living out this way (usually driving a Prius with a BETO bumpersticker).

Austin and Houston are unlike Texas almost entirely. I avoid both like the plague.

I suspect enough illegal aliens will be moved in from California to Austin and Houston in time for the 202 elections. There will already be precise calculations on how many more are needed to flip the state, so the votes of the rural people really won't matter much.

What about this?

Beto O'Rourke says he ate dirt with "regenerative powers", after losing to Ted Cruz in the Texas Senate race.

The dirt clogged up the logic side of Beto's brain!

He's telling audiences how horrible America is, but won't warn his Hispanic cousins to stay out of this hell-hole country.

Go figure...

Short term, I think you are on the right track. Long term, people are overlooking the fact that most rural Mexicans align with the republican party in a lot of ways

-religious
-anti-abortion
-pro small-business (lots of immigrants move to America to start the business they weren't allowed to start at home.)
-individualistic
-pro military (many of their sons serve in the marines or army, particularly the 3rd infantry out of SA.)

I spent a lot of time in the oil patch. The grandchildren of immigrants are avid trump fans, threatening to turn liberals in to ICE, or joke about their experience in concrete work could help speed up the wall.

The dems are in for a shock in about 2032.

Another point of evidence about the leaning of hispanics outside major US cities:

Look at places like Midland/Odessa, which Dubya Bush carried by like 96%. Those areas are 60-75% hispanic.

BETO has apologized to his staff for being a "Giant Arsehole".

This humility makes him even more electable, does it not?
