I have been pondering this subject since it began and have come to a conclusion as too where people get power from kneeling during the national anthem. The reason i am bringing this up is to try to understand it on a spiritual level so that it can stop. Now many reasons have been givin as to why it is being done but in my opinion those explanations to not equate to the amount of power that is being garnered. Why do when people say just stand and salute the flag usually gain no ground and the movement seems unaffected by such. The answer is simple...

When we say "I Pledge Allegiance to the Flag..." we are pledging allegiance to chinese fabric and labor.

Until we pass a law that says all usa flags have to be made here then anyone choosing to not pledge to that will have power behind their actions.

It's a flag, in and of itself it's material. It is supposed to represent something other than the material, you can't say what it represents to everyone else the same as you see it

The mental gymnastics to come to this conclusion are astounding.

That being said. I think trump should come out on TV and congratulate all those kneeling, for being in prayer

Then watch it stop

You are not pledging allegiance to the physical flag, your logic is severely lacking.

Dang who would have thought that words mean things.....

This is a simple concept to grasp if one tries.

No the words are clear..

I pledge allegiance to the flag and to...

In our hearts we are not pledging to a piece of cloth but in reality if i say i pledge allegiance to the ship, cup, leaf,or any other item you put in that place it adds up to the words meaning i am pledging to that object.

That is why this continues.

Make the flags here and they will have no power to kneel.

Its a flag for christ sake.

I guess if the fabric is not hand woven and stitched by God-fearing patriots it not worth the material its created with? LoL

Now i am not saying that...

I am saying that the wording creates and gives unwanted power to china and other countries that make our flags.

maybe it is a counter act for something else.

All the kneeling has done is turn people away from watching football because it became politicized.

I haven't watched it and surprisingly, don't even miss it.

Their protest and message has failed, in my opinion.

But they should be free to do it if they want. I don't care any more.

And the owners should be free to fire them for costing them revenue

Yeah, if they want.

I was a big fan of sitting on my fat ass and drinking beer on Sundays and yelling at the tv for hours on end.

When football got political, I stopped watching and started doing other things instead.

If the owners want to fire them? Go for it.

It's symbolic and if you're taking it literally, then you have so many other issues.

But maybe we can set up a schedule for some counseling.

Say Tuesday's at 2?

See the receptionist before you log out to set up a schedule.
