New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo set off a firestorm Wednesday when he took direct aim at President Donald Trump and his "Make America Great Again" campaign slogan. "We're not going to Make America Great Again," Cuomo said in Manhattan. "It was never that great".

It seems it's just an all out assault on The U.S.A by the top Dem leaders,
and their up and coming socialist demagogues.

So the only thing great about America is it's ability to collect tax money
and distribute it, that's about it anymore according to these people.

Unpatriotic at it's low, however I think there is a subplot and it's
looking like these Dem's rival Russia in their dislike of America.

I can’t wait for midterms. The Democrats seem to have lost their minds.

our country was good when our currency was backed by precious metals and not printed by the federal reserve.

I think the consensus is that it was great during the Baby Boomer years, all the while it had it's problems of course.
Then when the Military Industrial Complex rose to it's heights things began to change.

Thanks, I see someone posted it.

I am always suspect of anything that comes out of Hollywood,
and any type of a mainstream promoted sitcom or drama.

I don't agree with a lot of that video, but America is not perfect.

ALOT of what is wrong with the current situation has nothing
to do with what is mentioned in that video....

I look to the agenda within the intelligence agencies
that is also known as Globalism AKA Council on Foreign Relations,
etc.....etc.

Cuomo is a Progressive Democrat. To him, America hasn't been great since before the Civil War.

No... to him it will be great again when all us debt-slaves are back on the plantation working for the State and he is a member of the Big House.

Giving this some thought the following can be stated:

There is more to that statement, however out of media sensationalism, which is what most focus on, rather than the entirety of the comments. There was more there, than just that, however, that was not reported on.

A country is like the buoy on a wave, going up and down. There are times that a country is on top of the world, and other times it is down. Every country sees that, and in time has to either reinvent itself or it dies. And right now the US is in one of the valleys of the waves, and what happens will either cause it to raise or cause the paper skiff to sink. And for all of the bluster, there are 2 things that are apparent, the first is the fear and the other is the denial of the truth that is present.

Added to that point, is that the warnings that were given by those who were held in great esteem, are often ignored, and it is from both sides of the political affiliation. All the while the only thing that seems to suffer is the truth, which no one wants to admit, and more is the pity. And when confronted with the truth, with the facts, if it is not popular, it is then scoffed at or ignored, taken out of context and sought to remove from the public. Even to the point where those who would hold up the highest law, would deny such to the opposing voices. Added to that neither side wants to admit or even consider the ideas of the other side.

The country is divided along different lines, tearing itself from rot of stagnation, and all based on if a person on a ballot has an R or a D by their name. What is even worse, is that those who govern, do not do it for love of country, they do it for the love of power, to appeal to those who would vote for them, and demonize the other side, through the very media sensationalism. And we saw this for the past 20 years, where people refused to accept the truth, out of hatred of one person or group, even when presented with such, claiming that someone hid something, and each time it gets far worse tragedies.
