As 17 large wildfires burn across our state, we owe an enormous debt of gratitude to the thousands of firefighters saving lives. I met with @CAL_FIRE Chief Pimlott and discussed what we can do at the federal level to help California overcome and recover from these deadly fires.

There's a rhythm to those 2 phrases - maybe music bars or dance steps are relevant?

"Keep your eyes on the ball"= 4, 4, 4... 2, 3, 4

"Watch the Water"= 5, 3, 5

A lil spitballing re "Watch the Water" and "Keep your eyes on the ball":

Water Polo is the only activity I can think of where you BOTH watch the water and keep your eyes on the ball.

Who watches the water? Coastguard, Lifeguard, Lighthouse.

Why do we say "Keep your eye on the ball"? It means don't get distracted by the players or you won't connect with the target.

Also - you need to be watching the water to see something come to the surface?
