After 50 yrs of warmongering what did CIA say to NK for them to stand down?

I don't know about you but after over 50 years of trying to become a Nuclear power and succeeding North Korea is now standing down? What the hell did the CIA show Kim to make him reverse course completely? It's probably a huge piece of info not words but proof...... Hmm I'd really like to know!

If anyone out there knows even a little bit please enlighten US!

Our current administration didn't have to say much, other than telling CIA rogue assets to take a hike.

I don't want to look the gift horse in the mouth and can only hope the Koreas unify to whatever degree possible. I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I have my hopes up for this---it has seemed so impossible.

My time spent in Korea left me with a love for the country and peoples and a gorgeous and exceptionally intelligent daughter who is half Korean and this news is very exciting for us.

Kim as we know is western educated and his friendship with Dennis "The Worm" Rodman could have had more impact than we know lol. Whatever, I'm literally praying for this.

I've mentioned this is previous North Korean threads, but North & South Korea had a pro-reunification dialogue for a long time after the Korean War. Just look up the "Sunshine Policy" for an example. One of South Korea's Presidents even won the Nobel Prize in 2000 for his work towards peace there.

People here seem to think that the environment after Bush's "Axis of Evil" declaration is the same environment that's existed there the whole time, when that's simply not the case.
