I would have thought so too, he seems determined that he knows it was the Syrian regime that launched the attack, and that we are attacking bases with ties to chemical weapons?

It just doesn't make logical sense. I would like to know how they know, hopefully something more than the call sign chemical analysis if you will.

If you watch ADS-B Exchange, you'll catch French aircraft training off the East Coast. In addition to carrier training, I'll almost guarantee they're training with various units around the area as well.

I doubt Russia will retaliate. They really don't want war with us any more than we want war with them. If anything, this being a multinational strike will show Russia it needs to either rethink its alliances or curb its dogs.

It also tells Russia the US will stand its ground, and tells Assad that he's not going to get away with anything. Expect Putin to take off his shirt and pose for more pictures to save face.

To our boys (and girls) in this operation: get in, get 'er done, be safe, and get home... in one piece, please.

Everything in the world theatre is "tracked trajectory" when it comes to war and profit, they plan these things years and even decades in advance to create sympathy for the cause. If you mean "tracked trajectory" in the way I think you mean it at least. Nothing us a coincidence when it comes to world affairs/wars in my opinion.

The strikes are over. According to initial reports, 13 Tomahawks were intercepted by Syrian defense systems. They also had manned aircraft launching weapons. Russia said yesterday they would only intercept missiles heading towards Russian equipment or troops.
