So, let's be a bit balanced here... Comey lied under oath IF McCabe is telling the truth that he was authorised by Comey to talk to reporters.

If McCabe is telling the truth then Comey has to be charged and given the obvious nature of his lie under oath if McCabe is correct, then Comey will be found guilty. The penalty is up to 5 years in prison. He could look on the bright side, plenty of time to work on his next book.

Note how specific the questions are. Comey never leaked directly to the press, nor did he authorize anyone to do so. He did tell confidants of his disturbing encounters with Trump, and they went to their contacts in the media without Comey's authorization.

Time to put Mr. Trump under oath.

The questions Comey was asked is very specific. Someone will have to prove that Comey was used as an anonymous source and knew he was that source, or they will have to prove he authorized someone to be an anonymous source, specifically.

Otherwise, he may have been telling the truth.
