Comey did not lie under oath.

He was never an anonymous source.

Your OP doesn't show anything to the contrary.

Let me know if you are confused about anything.

ETA: His Memo's were not classified. He did not hide the fact that he gave them to a friend for publication. He authorized the friend to explain he got them from Comey. When asked Comey confirmed he gave them to the friend.

You seem to be propagating fake news.

Ahem....Here is the proof that you don't want to see.

Comey has had two friends leak
to the NYT, and they both have admitted it.

First one is Ben Wittes, who admitted he
did this here.

www.lawfareblog.com...

Wittes, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and founder of the popular Lawfare blog, admitted that he was the principal source for a story in The New York Times this Friday.

Wittes leak here to NYT
www.nytimes.com...

Second friend who leaked to NYT is Daniel Richman, who is
now representing Comey in the Russia Probe.

When Comey testified before Congress last June, he said that he had a friend of his who worked at Columbia Law School give the contents of his memo to a reporter. That friend was later confirmed to be Richman, who has been friends with Comey for 30 years. They also worked together at the school in research roles.

Imagine what it must be like to have a porn star call you a whore.

Probably not as bad as a whore losing a presidential election to a porn star (who apparently had sex with a porn star).

These are metaphors, people...I'm not actually calling Hillary a whore.

Well, political whore, maybe.

Probably definitely.

Okay, I guess that I am.

I know of nobody who lies as much as Donald Trump. He waxes prolific with lying, and is very skillful at it. He doesn't even bat an eye. He gets away with it only because nobody calls his hand. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

What is the biggest PROVABLE lie President Trump has told?

I believe Trumps lies were covered in this thread about 3pages back. Please try google. About 3000 proven lies in the past year or so. Documented.

It's simply incredible to see people arguing over and defending who they choose to be their favorite liar.

"No, Trump is the biggest liar!" "No, Comey is!" No, Clinton is the worst!"

They are ALL liars and none of them are on our side, the side of the people and the side of justice. And until we all unify and accept that ALL of them are liars -- they will simply continue ruling us and lying to us all. And they should, because if this is who we are then we deserve it.

You have highlighted the total lack of logic among my fellow humans.

The topic of this thread was that Trump claims Comey perjured himself to congress. After 6 pages of Whataboutism logical fallacies, you sum up the thread as an argument over who the biggest liar is.

Whataboutism is meant to drag conversations off topic. Its worked all too well.

So the tread is now about who is the #1 liar?

He who should not be named with his 3000 lies, or Comey, with his alleged lies under oath?

According to the poster I replied to, yes.

If i read through the last 5 pages, it would seem that save for a few folks trying to bring it back to perjury, the whataboutisms moved the topic as he indicated.

Sorry. Had to sleep and then get some work done.

What ever happened to my suggestion that Comey get put on trial for perjury?

I thought that would clear up any confusion.

This implies that COMEY (and others) will feature prominently in the upcoming DOJ Inspector General's report:

DiGenova stated during the interview on WMAL’s “Mornings on the Mall” that the investigator general’s report that led to McCabe’s firing could lead to other firings and will invariably result in a second special counsel being named to investigate the DOJ and FBI.

“He deserved what he got,” DiGenova said of McCabe. “Let’s remember who he was. He was the guy who was the head of the brazen plot to exonerate Hillary Clinton so that she could become president of the United States. And then if she couldn’t win the election, to make sure that Donald Trump was ensnared in a phony investigation, which has occurred.”

“That was McCabe’s idea.”

Beware of posters that constantly talk about their "expertise" but can't tell a lie from an exaggeration.

Could Trump's tweets about Comey and especially Meuller be considered as Obstruction of Justice by Meuller?

Just wondering if Meuller could see them as Trump trying to interfere in the investigation.

Start a thread and debunk them. Start at any point.

Enjoy!

YES...definitely! But since Trump and Mueller are working together, the "attacks" are just to make Mueller's findings all the more real and accepted. Gotta think BIGLY.

This is how Trump keeps getting into trouble - he just does not seem to understand that his comments look a whole lot like an attempt to influence investigations. Thus, more investigation.

Got a link for that statement? Sounds like far reaching conjecture, to me.

But I am sure you have a credible link...
