Yep. That is asking for standards to be applied equally. People on the right get free passes while people on the left have their careers ruined. How is that fair? THAT was my point. I didn't specifically call for anyone's careers to be ruined though. It's like you want to shove your foot so deep down your throat you # it out.

Actually it goes back to getting Herman Cain out the race in 2012, so Obama wouldn’t have to face him and the 9-9-9 tax plan. All those women come out of the woodwork and then magically disappear when he dropped out. Amazing how that worked. And hence here we are today. Same playbook, only it is seeming to backfire and snag up legitimate sexual predators.

It's really irritating that Franken can be singled out for this and Trump get a free pass. Moore's accusers appear to be very credible too. So much so that even his own party is thinking about opening up an investigation into his actions should he be elected. Even IF these are just rumors, they should still concern you and warrant further investigation, no?

Saying something and doing it are too different things. Lot of guys talk about sexual conquests they didn't actually achieve...Are they guilty of being a sexual predator too? Where was the victim in the Pu$%y grabbing case? Where are the charges or even evidence this happened?

Now Franken was caught on camera doing what he has been known to do in the past and accused of several times. Do you have that proof/evidence against Trump?

How do you not see the difference?

Wow you obviously don't know the meaning of allegations...

Allegations are not proof of guilt like say a settlement with a victim or a photograph of you actually committing the assault.

I know what an allegation is. I ALSO know that allegations mean that we should investigate them and see if they are true or not. Not immediately dismiss them because you don't have proof they are true or not on hand when you hear them. Like I said, you proved my point. You have no desire to hold Trump's feet to the fire. A settlement is not proof of guilt either, anywhere other than the court of public opinion.

And stating that going through a mediation process and reaching an agreement during that process is as good as "guilty as hell" is ignorant, considering the mediation process isn't voluntary in this case. Guilty of the claim or not, the mediation period is part of the process.

The tape was #ty. However, what is the context? Why should Billy Bush be trusted? He clearly was acting in a malicious way trying to hurt/blackmail Trump. Why was he recording in the first place? How did he know Trump would say something like that? Why was this released during an election (with the intent to thwart his campaign)?

Not saying this is the case, but what if it was a setup? What if it was taken entirely out of context, as some sort of last hurrah by the GOP establishment trying to take Trump down?

Furthermore, the tape doesn't specify any victims nor have any victims made such allegations against him. To me, it has the makings of the Steele Dossier (a political hack hit job). Just my opinion though. Releasing stuff during an election is not a good time, though. It has the optics of impropriety, and looks to be an attempt to hurt someone politically rather than bring justice to an alleged victim.

Where are the victims though? And not the ones presented by Gloria Allred - she is thoroughly discredited - I mean real victims willing to sign a criminal complaint against him. Why has no one signed a complaint? Why would they wait so many years until it so happened to be during an election?

Come on. Conyers/Franken aren't in an election cycle right now. And to be honest, I have daughters and the tape properly pisses me off. If there would've been a better choice to vote for (other than Clinton, she was an automatic NO) I would've voted for them. Like Bernie Sanders for instance, even though I despise socialism. I loved his energy and his message.

Ah well. I can't do this anymore. It's sad that I confirmed my biases. I was hoping to challenge people's views here and hope they rise above partisanism, but that won't be the case. Now that someone told me that Trump is sexy enough to make panties drop on their own, I've heard it all.
