Ok Someone correct me if I'm wrong, so many threads to keep up with it's confusing. The devices that got wiped belong to the venue or their employees correct? I'll go with that till I'm told different because I'm pretty sure that's what's being said.

The concert devices would probably be a heck of a lot more stable, better quality, maybe in fixed positions, lots of different angels of the crowd and stage, etc because they are mostly for Music Videos and advertising. Unlike the random phone video that is shaky, all over the place and confusing, because of the panic. So maybe they wiped the "good" videos and don't really care about the phone videos.

Although, considering there were 20,000+ people there, I've only seen at most 20 or so different videos. Mostly it is reposts of the same ones over and over. In those videos you can see dozens and dozens of people filming, yet we don't see those posted. You gotta know everyone with their phone out, pointed at the stage, at the time of the shooting was filming the concert. I know I do when I go to one. Why aren't they all online?

Nor do we see very many videos of people in the area but not at the venue, around 3 or 4 or so I've found. What about the videos that are from the other hotels like the Bellagio one showing that mess, why was only that one woman brave(?) enough to post what was happening?.

And all the "other incidents" from the scanners, that have been ignored or covered up, or cleared up. Even if nothing came of it people would be, "Oh wow cops everywhere what's going on!" and posting that s*** on youtube lol. I've found nothing from NYNY, Tropicana, Luxor, Excaliber, Hooters. People at least would have been filming the cops checking up on the reports of other shooters.

Hell I've not even seen a single video except Taxi lady and our own abeverage from the freakin Mandalay Bay. Wouldn't guests there be filming/posting that insanity as soon as they could? Especially here at MB, SWAT, regular cops, security, guns out. You don't see that sh** everyday, people would film it and post it.

Seems like there is a lot of scrubbing/threatening going on.

This gets weirder and weirder everyday.

Hundreds of people are being shot? You are going to stick around with your kids to shoot video? Not sure what you are getting at?

The narrative seems to be the same story ran over and over again. The article starts with a person over social media saying vendors are telling them the data was wiped clean. Why would vendors seek this one individual to repeatedly tell them their devices were wiped? Then why post the info as a third party? Only one person with an unsubstantiated claim agrees over social media.

Infowars claims two unnamed people confirmed the narrative.

Funny how these narratives always are based on unnamed individuals over social media that limit verification?

I think you missed something so i will help you. This has very liittle to d with videos, the claim is things were removed from phones that were left at the scene. The police had started returning peoples things which ranged from lawn chairs to phones. All i will say is of course they wouldtakea look at the phone. Probably to look for videos. Now if they found porn odds are good they would delete that. But just deleting peoples phones unlikely. I wouldnt be surprise if the people did it themselves. I know i would have wiped my phone if i left it running for my life. You log into google not only can you wipe it clean you can put a message on the screen. Be handy when the police are trying to figure out whos phone it is.

Expect them to? No. But where else did the videos we DO have come from? People filming, either on purpose or their cameras left on while they ran. /shrug I was just tossing ideas out about things that seemed "off" to me.

This is the information age after all, everyone wants their "likes" and "clicks" and potential money if they happen to film something really good. Early on not everyone was taking that shi* seriously. So I still think out of 20,000+ people we have a disproportionately small amount of videos that got released.

ArMap in the mega thread made a point that you can't really figure out "where" the shots came from because of mono mic on cell phones. I just think IF it is true they specifically took the venue employees stuff(not saying they did just speculating here) this could be why.

High quality, stable video with many angles and lots of footage. It might then be possible to figure it out conclusively, if there was more than one shooter. If they took vid off regular people, I'll go with they wanted to make sure there was nothing "good" or to cover up the other venue footage. That also would explain the disproportionately small amount of videos posted, when you figure 20.000+ people were there and many of them were filming the concert.

Just tossing ideas out. I'm not married to any theory yet.

It wasn't wiped clean but hard drives were removed and replaced.

As far as phones I'm not sure but the phones maybe replaced entirely.
