I'm really glad you were oblivious to much of it though. You shouldn't have symptoms of PTSD like so many of the others will for weeks and months to come.

Thanks for sharing your story with us.

My fiance might disagree we had the SWAT and military pointing weapons at us throughout the evening, ran by the body bags and blood on the streets the triage units setup with more bags...

but, yes we were not at the concert nor shot at, that we knew of.

Gun control is not the problem and here is what I see now...They will not take our guns away right now they will however continue restrict even further our freedoms with baggage checks at hotels and further. Mental health is the problem and no treatment in this country. If a millionaire wants a gun he could get one if there Gun Ban. This guy is not a terrorist he is a murderer.

And if we are to believe the anonymous poster named 'John' who predicted a major event in Las Vegas a month ago, then this was nothing more than a staged event to make a couple of guys very rich by having scanners and metal detectors installed into every hotel/casino in the US.

Thank you! Yeah still kinda sorting through this and believe me it gives you a whole new perspective on how conspiracies start and better still how they can be true! There is a lot of strange things that happened that night I cannot explain. I saw the 2 police that are all over the media and it was surreal to meet those to faces yet see them all over!

Wow. So super glad yall are ok and you are able to share the experience with us.

When you state strange things happened you can't explain, what do you mean by that?

I also read you saying you have your own theories as to what happened that horrific night..I'd love to hear it as I'm sure the rest of the members would to.

I'm leaning toward this guy being an arms dealer or something to that effect. Like maybe it was a deal gone bad. Isis claimed he's one of them and maybe he was selling them guns? He was a RICH pilot with 2 planes. His brother insists his job was gambling and his brother ALMOST said in an interview he was an army all on his own. He didn't complete the sentence in the interview but that's what he was about to say unless he was gonna say he was an arms dealer.

I'm not sure if you heard the reports about the Hispanic man and woman being escorted out of the venue just an hour before the shooting began. Supposedly this lady was pushing her way to the front and while doing so played with some women's hair saying, "they are all around, we are all going to f****** die".

I feel as though it's going to come out where this guy was used. We will never hear his side of the story.

This story just sends chills down my spine. Hearing someone's first hand account and seeing actual photos taken during the whole even really brings it home.

You did a great job of painting the picture of that night and I want to thank you for removing some of the numbness that was beginning to set in.

I am so glad you and your fiance are safe and sound. You two have definitely survived a horrible crisis.

To quote a legendary song: "What the world needs now, is love, sweet love"

During the actual events we had no idea of the danger we were in...now it has settled in and somethings I can't get out of my head...

WOW!! What a story and amazing documentation! You will never EVER forget this!! Odd little info here; when I began reading your post, my PC went white screen x3 and I was unable to connect to the ATS server. My PC browser crashed, and so I rebooted and had to actually LOG IN TO ATS to be able to read it. THAT I find very interesting....I'm guessing someone wants to keep track of WHO is reading, replying and flagging!??

Unbelievable. Not that you were right there, that you were right there right below were the still active shooter was.

Heres some video from right around there showing the shooter in the window. Look close maybe you'll see yourself.

Oh, never mind, removed by user.

Heres anther perspective from someone in a room right below the shooter.

story

I REALLY REALLY WANT TO SEE THAT VIDEO! Because I have some theories of my own!

Hopefully someone ferrets it out. Filmed right where you took your pics from. Guy had a cell phone camera trained on the broken window from right below, kept speaking aloud, "there he is right there", zoomed in to the broken window and sure enough, the guy was in that window, for at least the length of the video (about three minutes). It ends with a pan down to the street, the very corner you were standing with the cops and your fiancé against the white wall...

So sorry I'm not savvy enough to find it. I only bookmarked it. ID number is in the video, click on Quote in my post to obtain it.

Edit: Here is the YouTube video ID number from my earlier post:

A local couple not to far from where I live were at the concert and relayed their experience to a local TV station.

Here are some excerpts:

"It was the middle of the last set and the pops happened, and you thought it was maybe the audio equipment, and then they just kept going."

He says his family was on the east side of the concert area on an elevated platform. As shots were being fired, he and his son decided it was best to get out of the fenced in concert grounds. They ducked on the ground for a short time, then made their way to stairs and headed to a fence. However, there was not an official exit near them, so [redacted] and his son pulled apart the fence creating an opening for the family to leave. During that time, [redacted] and his wife were separated from his son and daughter-in-law. [redacted] says he and his wife ran about two miles and ended up at a gas station where they made contact with their son. Their son was able to get the car and pick them up from the gas station.

And the one the quote that I think the OP and a lot of other witnesses will experience for a very long time:

He says, he is not sure if there is a correct way to process the situation they were apart of, but he says, "The quiet becomes more of a problem because all we can here are the shots when we close our eyes."

I feel for everyone involved. Not a memory that you want to keep.

I will never forget the sound...and there are things I didn't mention because it was just unreal...This wasn't how our trip was supposed to go.

Next time you visit Las Vegas, consider staying at "The Mirage".

No pun intended.

I understand and I never want to downplay the horrifying experience anyone at or around the concert had. I do want people to know this was not fun for us and as the night went on it become very apparent that we were not in danger from the shooter any longer but very much still in danger as the Police/SWAT/National Guard had many false reports of terrorists, multiple gunmen and being accidentally shot became a huge fear...

That is pretty weird I have no doubt FBI/NSA are monitoring any social media right now I really don't care as long as I didn't film something I shoudn't have...

OP it's a blessing you are live and well to tell about this.... These acts are horrific and could only be done by people who are twisted and or disturbed, and as American citizens we should really be concerned and question how these types of behaviors come into frution if we truly care for those lost and those we want to protect. It may not be the solution but its a stepping stone to preventing these attrocities from happening.

As far as the conspiracy side goes; these events are always maintained and controlled in many ways even if its a legitimate psychologically disturbed citizen shooting we will never know the true full story because it will always be used and twisted for propganda through media all in the name of National Security. They instil fear when these acts are from an individual who is ethnic or of foreign descent so that the majority of the white demographic subliminaly accept their foreign policies or agendas. Las Vegas is a major and important city in Nevada. This event here may very well have been or just may be a part of the operation to militarize the police. A simulation that will prepare them and force them to mobilize and train for these situations.

Thank you! I do my attitude has change very much about a lot of things about gun control, our government, police and conspiracies!

I do know that they had that ENTIRE Las Vegas strip locked down within an hour and were at the hotel within 15 minutes but it was literally mass chaos in that big of a city with that many people at that concert...

OMG I Forgot!!!

These 2 glasses! Amazingly these two glasses were with us during that ordeal. I ran back to the statue in front of the Luxor to retrieve them when we left them during a SWAT move. They were with us the entire rest the time though and made it back without a crack!

We should all carry house of blues glasses from now on. They grant invincibility!

In All seriousness, sorry you went through that. I can only imagine! Sounds like you have a good haandle on things, though. Many people would lose their minds a bit....

Maybe alcohol is also an elixir against evil?

Sooooo a slight buzz and house of blues glasses for all!

I think y'all need to use these glasses for you wedding toast!

OMG - you are so lucky or blessed or both. I wish you both much happiness.

Have you both considered talking to professionals or do you think that is unnecessary?

All the best.
Missie

Is the FBI analysing this possibility. A group of terrorists banged into Paddocks room, did the shooting, killed paddock, put his finterprints on the guns And escaped.
Paddock is just a poor man in the wrong room, he could have been anyone occupying that particular room. The media is all bulls , they dont ask any questions. Journalism is going to dogs.
