I'm really glad you were oblivious to much of it though. You shouldn't have symptoms of PTSD like so many of the others will for weeks and months to come.
Thanks for sharing your story with us.

Gun control is not the problem and here is what I see now...They will not take our guns away right now they will however continue restrict even further our freedoms with baggage checks at hotels and further. Mental health is the problem and no treatment in this country. If a millionaire wants a gun he could get one if there Gun Ban. This guy is not a terrorist he is a murderer.

Thank you! Yeah still kinda sorting through this and believe me it gives you a whole new perspective on how conspiracies start and better still how they can be true! There is a lot of strange things that happened that night I cannot explain. I saw the 2 police that are all over the media and it was surreal to meet those to faces yet see them all over!

This story just sends chills down my spine. Hearing someone's first hand account and seeing actual photos taken during the whole even really brings it home.
You did a great job of painting the picture of that night and I want to thank you for removing some of the numbness that was beginning to set in.
I am so glad you and your fiance are safe and sound. You two have definitely survived a horrible crisis.
To quote a legendary song: "What the world needs now, is love, sweet love"

Unbelievable. Not that you were right there, that you were right there right below were the still active shooter was.
Heres some video from right around there showing the shooter in the window. Look close maybe you'll see yourself.
Oh, never mind, removed by user.
Heres anther perspective from someone in a room right below the shooter.
story
I REALLY REALLY WANT TO SEE THAT VIDEO! Because I have some theories of my own!
"It was the middle of the last set and the pops happened, and you thought it was maybe the audio equipment, and then they just kept going."
He says his family was on the east side of the concert area on an elevated platform. As shots were being fired, he and his son decided it was best to get out of the fenced in concert grounds. They ducked on the ground for a short time, then made their way to stairs and headed to a fence. However, there was not an official exit near them, so [redacted] and his son pulled apart the fence creating an opening for the family to leave. During that time, [redacted] and his wife were separated from his son and daughter-in-law. [redacted] says he and his wife ran about two miles and ended up at a gas station where they made contact with their son. Their son was able to get the car and pick them up from the gas station.
He says, he is not sure if there is a correct way to process the situation they were apart of, but he says, "The quiet becomes more of a problem because all we can here are the shots when we close our eyes."

A local couple not to far from where I live were at the concert and relayed their experience to a local TV station.
Here are some excerpts:

And the one the quote that I think the OP and a lot of other witnesses will experience for a very long time:

I feel for everyone involved. Not a memory that you want to keep.

I will never forget the sound...and there are things I didn't mention because it was just unreal...This wasn't how our trip was supposed to go.

I'm sorry abeverage. The last thing I wanted to do was minimize what you went through. So happy to see you are safely home.

WOW!! What a story and amazing documentation! You will never EVER forget this!! Odd little info here; when I began reading your post, my PC went white screen x3 and I was unable to connect to the ATS server. My PC browser crashed, and so I rebooted and had to actually LOG IN TO ATS to be able to read it. THAT I find very interesting....I'm guessing someone wants to keep track of WHO is reading, replying and flagging!??

OMG I Forgot!!!
These 2 glasses! Amazingly these two glasses were with us during that ordeal. I ran back to the statue in front of the Luxor to retrieve them when we left them during a SWAT move. They were with us the entire rest the time though and made it back without a crack!
We should all carry house of blues glasses from now on. They grant invincibility!
In All seriousness, sorry you went through that. I can only imagine! Sounds like you have a good haandle on things, though. Many people would lose their minds a bit....
Maybe alcohol is also an elixir against evil?
Sooooo a slight buzz and house of blues glasses for all!
