Is God sending a message to the Republicans on the health Care Debate

Maybe this OP should be in one of the religious forums but the ABOVE POLITICS may work...


Is God sending Republicans a sign in the Health care debate?

In the middle of the congressional health care debate we had a congressmen shot down and literally saved buy our health system

Now in the middle of the senate debate we have one of our republican senators struck with a severe disease

Could this be a sign from God to the republicans?

To strike one of their own with a vicious disease just to remind them that they should be looking after the people in this health care reform.

Give or offer to the people the same access and excellent health care they all have in the congress

Interesting during the congressional debate one of our republican congressional representatives House of Representatives Majority Whip Steve Scalise was saved by our health system during the shooting incident as one of our senators, McCain was now saved right in the middle of the debate.

I am NOT saying it is punishment but merely guidance

So you are saying there's a God? I'm confused by your tactics.

Just look at it as a possibility one way or the other. I’m not interested in a theological debate or any proselytizing


It is a little interesting that we had severe health crisis in exactly the same time each branch of congress were debating the issue, from the same respective congressional body

He was saved by a team of first responders and doctors.

I want this to be a positive thread, if possible, if people want to contribute

My heart goes out to two of my political opponents from the GOP and hope they get well, McCain and Scalisie.


I also want every citizen of America to have the same quality of health insurance they are getting


Sometimes the spirit, and I don't necessarily religion, needs nourishing

Why wouldn't God just cure all, why send a political message?

Yeah, I don't think God is a partisan.

Also, how many people has this bill hurt because I don't think God is very pleased about that. Do you?

You try and you try to sometimes bring some spirit here and it just doesn’t work


Everybody is so wound up in constant strife and debate


You don’t have to take the word God to even mean religion, maybe providence or destiny, fate, a lesson from the universe.

Deal with the synchronicity of the timing of two GOP senators having the power over millions of lives have at the same time their respective bodies were debating this they have health crisis.

Spirit isn't a political argument.

If you want to have a religious discussion, go author a thread in that forum.

We can discuss how it's loving to steal from many who cannot afford to have it stolen from them to give to those who also may not have and now do, but at the expense of those who now don't. Where is the justice in that?

My god told me this was all the work of the other guy down below. The other guy is furiously pumping up the whole socialistic movement so we will sell our own selves into slavery, thinking it is compassion instead. They are close to completing the scheme in flipping reality 180 degrees.

My god believes in personal responsibility and accountability. They do not believe in selling your soul to the demons of socialism for simple comfort.

It is truly an epic battle.
