I love how people always put the blame on someone else. In this case the media.

As someone mentioned, most of this outspoken groups are not out doing these events.

The blame goes on the person for acting outside of what is acceptable to society.

The media do carry some blame - they are filling gullible people with hatred.

Well this is terrible news...

The true assailants, the instigator is still alive!
George Soros and MSM.

As I understand it, the Republicans used one field and the Democrats another... or possibly rotated practice time. Schumer spoke earlier about meeting Rand Paul on the field this morning.

The gunman died, from the injuries.

Trump spoke well, articulated and with much concern.

No gun control talks. Good.

SBMcG,

Can I ask you a question?

Bill Maher, Stephen Colbert... can I ask you what these two have done which is hateful or hate-filled? The only reason I ask is because these people are not covering their platforms in their spittle, and screaming and shouting in spasms of pure rage, faces flushed with murder lust. They tell jokes, they apply sarcasm, but they do not express actual, genuine rage toward folk. They use people as the laughing stocks they ought to, but nothing else besides. They are not the lefts answer to Alex Jones or anything like it, so where did you get this description from?

I am genuinely curious as to how you are formulating the opinion you hold.

That question isn't worth an answer because it is predicated on a lie. And I am no Alex Junes fan...

I loathed Obama for political reasons, but he was NEVER the target of derision and hate like you leftists have dumped on Trump and his supporters like me.

It's truly disgusting how leftists are trying to deflect and shift blame for this attack by an assassin who was expressly targeting Republicans.

We're done!

Yes he steered clear of politics.
Simple, clear and appropriate message.

Thanks for the info.
I'll keep digging around.

Something just doesn't sit right about this whole thing.

Love Rand Paul, even though I don't agree with him all the time. He at least seems honest.

You sir, are 100% correct.

I have never seen the fomenting of hatred for a political figure and the his supporters like I have seen with President Trump.

Something interesting I think finger-pointers are avoiding here.

Shooter was 66. Technically categorized as elderly in this country. Does this mean all older people are a danger now? No? Then I suggest stuffing it and thinking with a little more logic and a lot less knee-jerk blaming. "I hate republicans" isn't explanation enough, his trigger for doing this was likely a whole lot more personal than that. If he specifically targeted these exact politicians, then what have they worked on lately that could have negatively impacted our elders to the point of this one's murderous rage?

I'm saying that is his excuse to go out and kill people. If Trump was never elected I'm sure he would have found some other reason to pull the trigger on someone.

This was a politically motivated attack by a far left communist trying to kill Republicans by the look of it.

Being confirmed now he asked Jeff Flake who the guys playing baseball were and whether they were Republicans or Democrats.

Have they released any info on his motivations or political ideologies?

He did well praising all those caught in the shooting and more so the security that took over and stop the shooter.

Very well spoken address.

And how many other groups do the same. Blame then all then, on both side.

Hopefully this tragedy will lead the alt-left media to turn down the volume on their partisan hatred for a few hours.

Yes. That was about as close to breaking up as I've ever seen POTUS, a man (according to his own books) who has trained himself to control his emotions in every circumstance.
