I don't want a see big fat arse in front of my nose while I am preying for my sick child because it's not appropriate for the situation .

I am trying to communicate with God and I could do without being forced to almost touch a females behind with my nose .

Firstly, I wouldn't be in a church, and secondly, the example you give is an extreme. I wouldn't be distracted by his "bulge" I would be taken aback by his inappropriate attire. However, if for some reason I had decided to go to church to pray for my sick child and a man in a suit walked in, I honestly wouldn't take any notice of him at all, tbh even if he was just wearing speedos, I would be too concerned about my child to give a monkeys.

Where would you be to pray for God [ if you believe in God ] ?

You are a Woman and as such your visual cortex and your sexuality operates on a different level than Men ; so it's not fair to judge Men by Women's standarts .

Most importantly , many Women also prefer to Pray without Man's presence too .

In Islam it is accepted that Women take care of Family while Men take care of Society ; a division of roles which works .

In this context Women have the greater responsibility and greater accountability because family is the first unit of society .

Women using the backdoor is simply put the numbers issue ; i.e front doors are bigger and designed for more people in and out and most people come to Mosques are Men .

Islam is not against Women attending Mosques via the Front Door and Men and Women praying together .

It's not the done thing mostly because Women prefers it that way ; for example bringing up your child or taking care of elderly mother and father or caring for the home is seeing as a better deed than attending a mosque to pray .

I gave up on organised religion a long time ago, churches, mosques etc are often so full of hypocrites in my experience that I want no part of it. I am not totally atheist, more agnostic, as such I don't need a particular place to ponder the wonders of the universe, being out in nature, hearing birds song in the morning, appreciating and being grateful for all of the good things in my life, that works for me and I can be anywhere to do that.

As for your statement about women who would rather do things in the home, whilst men take care of society, well that's all fine and dandy if you are in that position. My father died when I was 7 years old, my mother had to go out and work and take care of me and my brother until we were old enough to look after ourselves. Subsequently my own marriage broke down and I have brought my daughter up entirely on my own, whilst also going out to work,she has just obtained a First Class Hons Degree in Digital Art, so I don't see the clear cut divisions the same. What happens to widows in islam? Do the community step in, are they expected to remarry, go out to work etc. What about single women, or women who can't or don't want to have children?

This is why I believe that women should have the same opportunities as men and be able to control their own destiny in a way that suits them, not have to be trailing after a man all the time, that has not been my life or my experience.

I knew that usage of " fat arse " would come back to bite my own . I should have qualified it better .

When you bend over ; your genitalia gets exposed and YOU expose the part of your body to person behind you to see .

For example this is a funny situation for kids in Mosques and they laugh and crack jokes about it .

Most Women I know would be uncomfortable to expose their crutches to strange Men under any circumstances while praying .

Muslim Women themselves don't want pray with Men in the Mosques ; they prefer a separate section before anyone else .

If you asked a Women to go pray in the Men section ; she would look at you and ask why the hell I would do that while I can relax with other Girls and pray .

This issue is not about Men oppressing Women ; it just has been sold to you as such .
