I'd imagine that convincing the good folk of ATS that someting that is absurd is true would be quite difficult.

Heh.

ATS is never convinced. That's why the motto is "Deny Ignorance".

So they resort to calling you names and attacking you, but I'm better than that.

I won't stoop to that basic, primitive level.

Alright, cya

Don't feel compelled to leave on my account.

We can co-exist together, despite my elevated superiority I'm quite tolerant.

Don't kid yourself. You can't exist with them. Only a few of us know eachother and what we can do. You're not tolerant.... You're a pretender - one of the ones who is truly evolved.

The difference between you and me is only that I side with the angels and you side with the demons.

Heathen.

You think this is about religion? The demons respect and fear me almost as much as the average human.

They fear me, too. I didn't know they did until a former Wiccan friend told me so. Before then, I had no idea of their presence.

But they don't fear me in an obedience way. They fear me in the way of not obeying their masters.

I converted a Wiccan on that account.

You mean you allowed a wiccan that was more intelligent than you convince you that something absurd was true?

Was more intelligent. Not anymore.

Intelligence was gained. I improved, he didn't.

Not sure what gains you made here, you managed to come across even more creepy than me in the end.

Thread's crap, looks like I won again.

I'm out.

I have been reading your posts, and I can't help but think you're just a statist who thinks everyone should be in some clique. Sorry, but I disagree... Tribalism is part of what's wrong with this country. The majority don't think for themselves, groups do that for them

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Anyone who has the diligence to read the thread would learn that loners are no more, if not less, dangerous than social butterflies.

I love my butterfly wife, indeed... But.

I like to socialise at work, I talk to everyone and get on well with most people.

Sometimes I make up lies about other employees, spread rumours. I like to cause trouble between other members of staff then stand back and enjoy the drama that unfolds it's a great laugh.

the best thing is, I'm really popular and most folk seem to like me, so it's a win-win situation for me. I get to cause trouble and still be popular...you can't grumble with that.

How do you live with doing what you do?
Does it make you feel good to cause problems for others just because you want to enjoy the drama that you caused them?

Of course

Do you like to hurt people?

Hurt who? People at work?

Sometimes, yes. Sometimes I want to wreck them, emotionally. There was one time when this lad liked this girl who was a new, young receptionist what started working with us. He confided in me that he was really into her but wa scared to approach her in case she rejected him or he got in trouble for being a creep.

So I said I'd subtly drop it into a conversation next time I was chatting to her just to sort of find out what her opinion of him was...I hated her as much as I hated him so I decided instead to tell him she found him repulsive and ask her out myself, that he was a loser and a loner.

I used her then dropped her, they were both in tatters but people in work still worshipped the ground that I walked on, they think the sun shines out of my backside when in actual fact I'm the devil incarnate. She left soon after and became a heroin addict, which I found to be highly amusing.

I have lot's of friends and a very active social life. Everyone loves me, I'm a minor local celebrity and notorious hard man.

One word: KARMA. It was the only thread I have read today and I am deeply sure I am the normal one beside being loner in this world full of BS people like You.

I feel like pointing out that you have been relatively absent, friend. Being an observer is a good thing, though. What have you learned from the discourse that has taken place in your thread?

That would be the reason for starting the thread, I think.

It has shown me that there are more like minded folks than I figured. It has also shown me that there are some such as Fuggle, assuming he's not just posting things for #s and giggles, who truly believe that introverts and loners are a "problem."
I have also learned that a lot of contributers to society were introverts. While I was aware of some, others I wasn't aware of.

As a loner myself with two friends, I can say some of us you do have to worry about.

Me. Life hasn't been my cup of tea. I've tried to live it to the fullest but always get brought back to the crap by other humans or by my misplaced sense of judgment. Either way. I prefer to keep to myself. Most humans don't have anything original to say in the first place.

I am though. Slightly scared that something could trigger me and I could go on a rampage. What it could be I don't have the faintest. I just hope that never happens.

I swear though, you meet me in real life and I'm a very cool laid back dude with a weird outlook on life and a twisted sense of humor.

I have always been the same way. I treat everyone with kindness, but underneath, I understand there's a storm swirling. I spend a lot of time putting events into perspective in order to keep the "storm" from becoming a "hurricane." I can relate to what you're saying.

My question is, why is this? Is it just a convenient label to toss on people who do terrible acts, or is there relevance to the connection?

I am a loner, mostly because most people I knew in real life were luciferians. As a Christian; have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness and instead expose them. (that and most people are fake friends who only care about what you have in your possession.)

Truth be told though, the Government has been demonizing loners for a long time. Those who are "free thinkers" and not under their control. Of course that person will be dangerous. He is outside of their system of control.

So its really not fair to associate loners with wickedness. Some people I met along the way are loners because they like studying and others are just a distraction.

What you really want to look for is trauma within the person. Those people at columbine for example were kids who were being bullied. (This could have been avoided.)

Bullying causes distress, which leads to anger when pushed to a corner. The main culprit is the society that teaches violence to begin with.

There are many factors that causes one to lose control and murder someone. Wanting some alone time is not one of them.
