‘Trump Effect’ Hurting Local Businesses In Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) — For three weeks in a row, President Trump has rolled into Palm Beach.

With Secret Service, staffers, and the news media all packed onto the tiny barrier island, he doesn’t travel light. In front of his Mar-a-Lago resort, the roads are closed the entire time he’s in town.

Local aviation businesses have been hit hard as planes remain grounded all weekend because of flight restrictions within a 10-mile radius of the resort.

“I do about 90% of my business Friday and Saturday and Sunday, so it is going to shut me down,” said Jorge Gonzalez at Palm Beach County Park Airport in Lantana, just south of Trump’s winter White House. www.google.com...

There are already several buildings that tax payers are on the hook for to maintain. Those are the places that Americas business should be conducted. Why is the President charging the American people to conduct Americas business at his private residencies? If he wants to be in the lifestyle he is accustomed to, do it pro bono!

9 trillion spent during the last administration:
Social Security imbalances were not addressed at all.
1 or 2 of the 9 spent would have fixed that,
How about removing the weak outdated income cap.
Nothing done about that.

Wanted the airport moved and the jail that can be seen on his golf course

I'll have a judgement after his seat in office. As of right now Obama holds the record with flying colors adding 6.5 trillion to the debt. Followed by Bush adding 3.3 trillion to the debt.

Maybe taking days off will save him from the horrendous Presidential aging process!

And do you really think that if he didn't take these trips the Government would what....refund your taxes? Of course not they'd be spent on something else just as frivolous. Where your taxes go is none of your business you don't have a say in that ...unfortunately

Actually that would be praise compared to what actually took place. Obama will forever be know as the president who bombed sovereign countries into the mercy of our bankers. All the while giving us one of the worst healthcare plans in existence, adding the most deficit to our debt in history. It literally seemed like every big issue we have in this country. Obama did everything he could to further those negative things. Fast and furious, armed ISIS, continued division in the country, horrible trade deals.

Obama was nothing but his special interests poster boy.
