You appear to be self-projecting, we have seen what a right-wing movement looks like during the Obama years. The Tea Party never rioted, never looted, there was no massive upsurge in violent crimes in any area due to the Tea Party movement. However, when we look to the left, and the movements that have been coming out lately, all we see is depravity and violence.

The Chicago kidnapping and torture is pretty clear on the motives, there is not much to question, and most people are thankful these people will receive justice. If we want to look at the why, it's very clear, generations living under democratic policies and the hate spewed from the leftist MSM and social media 'activists'.

The left believes the right is 'out to get them', because that's exactly what the left does when in power, they target the right. The vitriol towards Trump and his supporters, in many cases being attacked by extremists; some extreme cases being kidnapped and tortured, or dragged out of their vehicle and beaten to death.

The culture of hatred and violence is quickly becoming a common theme among left-wing culture, if the system does not work in the way they wanted, the go to response is violence and de-legitimizing whatever criticisms they have.

Very sad how you would twist words of others who extend a hand of compassion. All I am asking is for some self-reflection and understanding, and stop the culture of violence.

I know plenty of liberals.

I also know to avoid any disagreement over the validity of their political beliefs, they tend to lash out violently anytime their intellectual superiority is questioned.

The left touting to be the champions of science, do not apply those beliefs when it comes to policy decisions. The outcomes of liberal policy generally result in opposite of the intended results, doubling down on their theories for the sole purpose of their fear of being wrong.

That's not compassion. It is a deceptive pseudo intellectual gaslighting effort. The entire thrust of the OP is that ordinary left leaning Americans are going to suffer and die for their failure to stem an invented tide of violence. There are no sources in it. There is literally no understanding of nuance in it. It is, essentially, propaganda. To accept it even in part is a mistake as it lends undue credibility to the lies therein. If you are talking about the eventuality of violence befalling moderate left leaning Americans, newsflash: you are a political extremist and likely a proto-fascist. The nature of your particular sophistry is to create a false monolithic left. I am no more responsible for the actions of protestors committing vandalism than you are for the Trump supporters trespassing on Jewish properties to turn Menorahs into Swastikas. Unless, of course, you happen to be one of them.

If you lived here and saw how corrupt, incompetent and wasteful our government was, you wouldn't want to give them more power either. Socialism requires the government to have nearly unlimited power, that's how they take from certain groups of people and give to other groups. Unfortunately they usually take from the middle class and give to the elites. There is a reason most Americans want smaller, more local government, and it isn't because of right-wing propaganda, it's because government sucks.

Why is it so difficult to accept responsibility? Supporting of Hillary Clinton was supporting these levels of violence, and the false narrative portrayed by the left. Anytime a police shooting involved a Minority, it was a knee-jerk reaction to assume racist intent on the part of the police. These assumptions, and non-stop bombardment of propaganda by the MSM led to rioting in several major cities. The media narrative did not relent spreading hate and lies over a 'racist regime', when Trump was elected president the left quickly took to the streets turning towards violence.

The left-wing political industrial complex went so far as to hire violent actors to disrupt Trump rallies. The media would simply report violence at Trump rallies, shifting blame towards to victims of such egregious actions. Being spit on, beaten, cursed, and more; the empirical evidence cannot be denied.

Left doesn't mean one thing, it probably means something quite different for every person that says it.

Most people talking about the " radical left" these days usually mean people, groups like the blm, George soros, people who will sue you if you call them the wrong identifier - people I've never actually encountered but someone is reporting on a lot.

Not to say this is what the op means, just to say I've seen you reply to a few threads, and referencing the term "left" and arguing about Americans and how left they could be - I wouldn't assume the typical person is meaning the type of left you are thinking of, though Americans are inherently against socialism in general because it's literal meaning is that the state owns business and land.. Whereas that's not what those who are pro socialism are talking about either, most of them just want to make progress in areas like pollution and sustainability, a bigger safety net for those less fortunate, single payer universal health care and the like.

Terminology is a tricky thing these days.

Can you provide anything to substantiate your Nazi-like propaganda? Let's see if I can provide anything to give the lie to it, shall we?

1) Not everyone on the left supported Hillary Clinton. I know of a great many people who conscientiously abstained because they did not perceive Clinton as a legitimate representative of their left-leaning politics and they knew the electoral votes of their state would go blue either way, so they didn't feel forced into the awkard "Trump or Clinton" question. So your monolithic left fallacy is not only wrong but embarassingly wrong.

2) You have not substantiated what you even mean by "these levels of violence", but you certainly have hinted at the inevitability of violent fates befalling well-meaning non-violent liberals. Who exactly is being violent, here? You sound like the bully on the playground who complains of being a victim when the adult shows up to ask how little Joey's nose got bloodied.

3) You do understand that rioting isn't new in the US, don't you? Did your understanding of history begin with Trump's nomination? Do you remember the riots of 1992? Riots in response to police mistreatment of blacks, perceived or real, has been going on in this country for a long, long time. Further, just because the racist hotbed of Republican politics drives minorities toward the left does not mean that your simplistic distillation of minority issues as being a leftist cause is accurate. Ironically, the more right you are about this, the more depressing the implications for the Republican party and the Nazi salutes it has been attracting of late from the likes of Spencer's fan club.

4) If a minority of anti-Trump actors committing vandalism can be magically transmuted into a responsibility for all left-leaning Americans for things like the actions of those four in Chicago, then all conservatives should be sentenced to death for the actions of Dylan Roof. Why is it so hard to accept responsibility?

I don't believe you. Can you provide mainstream sources, or are you one of those who believes we have to get all of our information from Alex Jones? You are trying to artfully craft a justification for violence against people who've done no violence. Don't worry, we're listening and taking you seriously:

Why US liberals are now buying guns too

60+ million voted for Hillary Clinton, that is not a negligible number of people.

Whatever you mean by 'not everyone on the left', sure 1% voted for Jill Stein, and the rest just didn't care to vote because the left believed what the MSM was selling that Hillary had it in the bag.

The fact remains, the vast majority of the Left voted for Hillary.

Yes, these levels of violence. Ferguson riots, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Chicago Trump 'protests', the rioting on the West Coast after Trump election, and so on. The MSM ignore stories that paint the Left in a bad light, there was widespread violence against Trump supporters during the primaries, that is undeniable for people living in reality.

I was 6 years old in 1992, so I don't remember. It's interesting to note, you couldn't pick an example any later than 1992, except for 25 years later which is now a very common occurrence.

Most of the stories of Trump supporters and vandalism, which is a far cry from torture assault and other brutal acts by the left, turned out to be LEFT-wing actors committing the vandalism.

As for Dylan Roof, who is a nutjob racist, was most likely triggered from the MSM promoting race wars for months. The right did not condone his actions, they did not support his cause; that's the difference between the left and right, the right condemns their actions; the left obfuscates and attempts to bring up examples to make the point 'right does it too'.

Alex Jones is a tin foil nut bag, but nice attempt at an association there. If you want real news, you get it from the source; government docs, interviews of people who actually witnessed the event, scientific data that is not skewed to appease who's funding it, etc. I take any news with a grain of salt, I don't believe the MSM or any alternative blogpost at face value: I do my own research.

I support the second amendment, but I find your news source suspect.

It first goes into anecdotal evidence, of one liberal buying a gun. It then links to another article of minorities buying more guns, for some reason it's ok to associate Blacks with liberals in that case. That article only states a percentage of increase, does not give any hard data. It also does not have any surveys regarding whether Minorities are adopting conservative political beliefs; it's just assumed they are liberal. Back to the original article, the liberal gun club saw a 10 percent increase in membership, how many people are a member? 10? 100? 1 million?

You take your news as absolute truth, as you can see I ask questions and want the blanks filled in with more than just fluff.

There there

Greed, you say? I say: lack of mathematical skills.

48.2 percent of the American people voted in favour of ms Clinton
46.1 percent of the American people voted in favour of mr Trump

So, to me, applying logic and some basic democratic principles, the outcome of such an election should have been that ms Clinton would be the next president, and that mr Trump, being an impressive runner upper, should have been elected second in command (vice president I guess). And of course, given that both represent roughly half of the nation, their most important task would be to find the third way (read your Covey).

But no, the runner-up wins and the candidate that actually won is simply removed from the premises.

Tribal rule. Nothing to do with democracy.
Let me clear up some of this for you. First of all Clinton couldn't make the popular vote without all the massive numbers of illegals the nutty Potus I cited in deliberately to try to turn the election. That's just the tip of the iceberg I'm afraid. Even the corrupt GOP like the Bushes tried to influence it toward Hillsry both my endorsing the Democrat candidate which in my book is unforgivable and by using their Ratheon satellite and hackers. That being said even the Soros machine coins t get her elected. The exposure of her crimes and ties to pedophila rings and such show that the right person was duly elected and wil now lead our country into greater real prosperity and security not the fake agenda of socialism and One Works Government. I love it when God wins!
Aldo a note to you and True Brit: the American people are the most generous of the world. I just met a Christian man who has his own charity set up in Cambodia...none of this Satanic Rothschikd fake Salvation Army $@/;!!!!!!!
So please stop with the America bashing and get real about the players worldwide who are doing all the horrible things in our name which we do not agree with. Thanks for playing. It's time to defund the UN Planned Parenthood and Obamacare!
Oh and speaking of generosity Anericans are still the best at helping refugees and earthquake victims.... But you know the Syrian thing is an agenda deliberate

So have you actually seen a Marxist who says they are a Marxist in the flesh? I'm sure you will say yes to bolster your argument, but I have NEVER met one in my entire life.I have never witness a communist rally, or even received a Marxist flyer. I think it is just BS hyperbole on your behalf to even refer to Marxists because in 35 years, living in the biggest, most liberal city in the country, I have never met one, ever, ever, ever.

Ah, I see. Every Clinton voter is responsible for the actions of every Ferguson protestor. Every Ferguson protestor is responsible for the behaviors of the worst of them. But the Right is not responsible for murdering people for being gay, murdering people for running abortion clinics, murdering people for working for the federal govenrment (Timothy McVeigh), murdering people because they're not running Europe as the dominant Christian region it should be (Anders Breivic), and so on. You know nothing about me other than that I oppose your sophistry and lies. This isn't terribly novel, though the young seem to have forgotten.

You are clamoring for far-reaching violence done against innocent people because you are a far-right extremist. It is not the first time you've done this. I complemented you not too long ago for listening well to TheRedneck who advised that your political opponents are not your mortal enemies and that we advance as a people through compromise. But this is a pattern. Own it as is your apparent desire, but underestimate those you wish to harm at your own peril.

Stop projecting.

I do not condone violence, and all those on the right who have committed heinous acts are just as bad, sometimes worse. I am not talking about isolated incidents from right-wing terrorists. I am talking about violent movement that have been gaining traction by the left, and are being promoted by left-wing media, with the majority of the left who condone those actions through their silence. Instead of condemning these actions, you turn the argument towards scumbags that are associated as 'right', in an attempt to nullify the legitimate concerns.

I've given the compromise issue some thought, there are areas that I can see as good to compromise, but I will not compromise the existence of our nation or compromise my opposition towards violent Marxist movements, or those extremist right-wing terrorists.

The violent movements on the left, is one of the main reasons Trump was elected. What do you think will happen if this trend continues? I won't have anything to do with it, all I have asked for is that the left stop playing the 'right does it too' game.
