Moderate Leftists Must Rise Up And Oppose Their Radical Marxist Counterparts

The Left is sending America down a very dark and dangerous path. The vast majority of leftists are not crazy nut-jobs, the sensationalized media has given these radical subversive elements a very loud voice. The left-wing moderates need to rise up, if they continue to condone the violent behavior from their radical counterparts and allow it to spread into the Trump presidency, draconian decisions will be made.

I don't know if the left is consciously silent on the violence, disagreeing with their methods, but brothers in arms for the cause. Let me ask you, do you want martial law? Do you want a repeat of 1930s/40s Nazi Germany? That is what the left is enabling by remaining silent over these issues.

2014 saw the beginning of widespread riots and a general acceptance of leftist violent acts through silence. In their quest to end the racism and bigotry of quite possibly one of the least racist and bigoted countries in the world, the left has amplified racial tensions. We are now seeing an increased trend of isolated incidences of hate crimes, perpetrated by both sides. The peculiar thing is, the left does not even classify the hate crimes committed by leftists or those 'under the protection' of leftists as hate crimes.

The leftists must shed their feelings of intellectual superiority, it has bred an arrogant short-sightedness that will ultimately lead to their own destruction. The Left must shout down the MSM, the radical Marxists, and even those loosely associated to the left. Urban areas will be the target, we've seen an unprecedented number martial law in a limited capacity. This general acceptance of rioting anytime a Black person is shot, without having any information or allowing for the process to work, will lead to a new cultural norm of violence; maybe it's already set.

The Urban areas, those leftist strongholds, will be the targets for martial law. This is on you democrats, fix it or it will be fixed for you, and not in a good way.

The left's attitude of low expectations towards minorities, has been more destructive than anything an overt racist of today could ever accomplish. Your Good Intentions has destroyed millions of lives, making it more comfortable living in poverty, while telling people there is no way they can succeed. The slogan of the Obama administration was 'Hope and Change', yet by your actions and attitudes you gave neither.

I'm not going to sugar coat things, the Right is reactionary, and they will react to the widespread violence and subversive attitudes of the left. If the economy tanks, and it is always a possibility, it will be hell on Earth in America, or at least the cities. Do leftists not see this? Do leftists believe the only reason these events would ever take place is because Donald Trump? Donald Trump is president, for the reason that the left has allowed the voice of Violent Cultural Marxists to flourish.

It doesn't matter how bad you think the Right is. Change starts with you, and if the Right is as bad as you claim, it is up to you to set a better example. The same goes for the right, but the right is not rioting and looting. The left must understand, they do not know everything, and that there is very little standing in the way of Republicans when it comes to policy decisions.

Don't merely disagree with the methods of your violent counterparts, shame them, shun them, let America know they are not the majority and there voice is as unimportant as a violent right-wing racist. This whole move towards social unrest for social justice, it will eventually be forcefully quelled, and everything America has every stood for will forever be gone.

As for the right, including me, I am going to take the time understanding the perspective of the moderate left. I've ordered some leftist political magazines, and will take the time in understanding your position, and understanding that the radical elements are fringe vocalized by the corporate MSM. Social media can be used as a tool for good and bringing people with different points of view together, or it can be used as a weapon, fracturing this country into a thousand pieces.

The tools have been set-up over the Bush and Obama years for total control, all they need is widespread social and economic unrest for an excuse. Do not give it to them, and consider for a moment that some of the positions you believe in are wrong, just like some positions the right believes are wrong.

We are in this together, do not put the future of this country on the back-burner.

Reason with your opponents, use logic and understanding to come to reasonable compromises. Change happens at the state and local level.

By the way, most of the people who wanted Hillary were the moderates. The real "lefty wingnuts" (like me) wanted the socialist Bernie.

I wasn't aware Marxism manifested itself as a radically extreme racist and sexist movement. Marx being an egalitarian and all.

Well, I come to ATS every day and get their news and I sort through a variety of news, including local. Sorry, but I live in Idaho and I know who Trump supporters are. I don't know why Idahoans are so angry at democrats. The state has been ruled by republicans for 25years. They are not racists so much but religious cults who are very political, without paying taxes.

I wondered if this might happen. The lefts version of the Tea Party. It's been interesting watching how the reaction from the left parallels the actions from the right after Obama was first elected.

The Left has some thinking to do after this election much like the right did after Obama was elected.

It will be interesting to see what develops.

We may both technically speak English, but our ideas and concepts vary greatly. I am not speaking in terms of European politics, and Europe seems to be having a problem of extremist European right-wing movements due to their permitting of radical European left-wing policies.

We do not want to be like Europe, Europe is what happens when the radical elements gain power. The transitions are more violent, and the policies more draconian. We do not want to be like you.
