That was your original post so please present proof for that. Or do you have zero understanding of what the burden of proof means??

The word 'god' means to me - all there is. And all there is is what is happening. What is happening is not good or bad.

Okay I read your posts. So I'm trying hard to to get it. Trying really hard to justify this Biblical flood genocide. As I understand it, it can be summed up with the idea that the majority of humans were essentially evil and therefore deserving of the flood. So how do we justify the kids, teens, pregnant mothers, or hell, the puppies?

If the end of humans and puppies happened right now it still would not be bad.
What about all the trees that die in a forest fire? It gives the chance of life for the undergrowth.
God does not care about what appears.

Is there an assumption that the trees that die in a forest fire are all evil???

So how do you relate that again to the OP "If God is all powerful he cannot be all good quote".

Do you think the quote is a fact??

God is not good or bad - so God is not all good.

What IS is not good or bad - there is no good or bad.

Whatever the case may be.... if there is some guy out there that could blink his eyes, spin around 3x and say a few magic words and create utopia for all ..... and instead watches people suffer by the millions year after year, children and babies, the sick and the poor ....... he damn sure isn't a person i would call friend or have very much respect for. The people I call friend and admire..... that aint how they roll.

So the topic is:

"If God is all powerful he cannot be all good quote"

Do you have anything to add to the topic?

You stated earlier that you are not into labels but you cannot shake off the label 'good'. The one that divides what IS into good and bad is discontent and uncomfortable.
I know you think you are good and this creates the bad for you to be superior to but you know deep down you are not all good.

Exactly.

Not a benevolent being at all.

but you know deep down you are not all good.

I'm quite comfortable with my morality and goodness, actually.

Does that upset you?

Would you like me to talk more about my care home? More about the failing of the Christian parents that abused the kids that struggle to see their kids?

I think the issue here is that you think God is doing bad things to people - when really God is what is happening - including apparent people.

No - I can see quite clearly that you pride yourself on being good - you are better than others that are incapable of being other than they are.
It is not just Christian parents that abuse.

I think the issue you have always struggled with is the realization people can lead great moral lives without religion.

Is that the issue that I have always struggled with???
I have no doubt that people will be as they are, with or without religion.

Yes - be as they are.
The thing is you believe that people choose to do what they do - I don't. Life is just happening as it is - it is not good or bad.

Right. I keep hearing you say this. Yet, there is zero biblical basis for it. So, obviously you've just been talking out of your @#$ about it. Hey, that's fine. Just own in, man.

Yet, there is zero biblical basis for it.

Forget the bible and God for a minute.
Is what is happening right here and now good or bad? Is life bad or good? Or is life just life - not good or bad?

Try answering the question just this once - humour me.

The question was not, is life good for you?
Life is not for you - that is the issue.
Life is as it is.

Life will never be good enough for you. But life is what it is - neither good or bad.
The individual seeks for a 'good life' and is never satisfied with what there is - the individual cannot see or hear what there is but instead is lost in stories of good and bad and what could or should be.
