So overdue, on a national level. It's time to end prohibition.

Completely agree. I'm lucky I'm in Washington where it's not a big deal at all.

Like you it will involve friends and alcohol.

I am financially invested and have a lot riding on the result. If a certain candidate wins, my lunch will be payed for by my opponents for an entire month, not to mention the satisfaction of rubbing it in their faces.

After work it's time to break out some brewskies and watch the hockey game.

Tune in to the results of election.

Then, subsequent vomiting I'm sure..

Yup, these archaic laws are based mostly on propaganda, unscientific and non-medically based ideology, and ulterior motives. From crime statistics to medical to economic reasons, the weight of evidence is for legalization, or at the very least decriminalization. But the latter is already a reality in many places.

I'm horrible at gambling of any kind. When I go to the Casino with people I just play slots and drink for free. As bad as my luck is with gambling I didn't want to bet on the election because I might throw it off haha.

Alcohol.
I don't usually drink, but with Hillary on the world horizon, drinking will probably be banned at some point worldwide for being racist. I thought I might as well make the most of it whilst I can.

I'm on holidays and playing my own drinking game where if I read the words 'Hillary' or 'Trump' I have to slam back a beer and if I hear the names 'Hillary' or 'Trump' on YouTube/TV I have to slam back a beer & although it's considered cheating, I plan on eating a packet of chips around lunchtime.

I will then fall asleep around 3pm, miss dinner and wake up around 11pm really hungry and thirsty at which point I will log on to see who the POTUS is.

true story.

Nah, drinking will be organist. Why do you hate your liver? You liver hater! Likely to become the new "it" term -- heparist! You are a heparist.

Haha. I doubt I would make out of bed playing that drinking game. This election is all consuming.

I actively support one of the candidates and it isn't the case of the lesser of two evils for me, but I have had enough at certain points of the election with the constant barrage of Trump and Clinton despite my great support. I'll be sure to have a drink this weekend. Normally don't during the week.

I have zero love for either candidate, so it's more of a spectator thing for me this time around. I know that whoever wins, nothing will really change, except for a growing lightness in my pocket.

I am currently wondering that no one ... NO ONE ... has tried to call and tell me whom to vote for ...

No one has tried to call me either. I only have cell phones so that may be why in my case. 6-7 people have stopped by my house in the last week trying to talk me into voting for their candidate, after the first two I just check out of a window upstairs and don't answer the door.

edit on 8-11-2016 by underwerks because: (no reason given)
