Went up to Sistersville, West Virginia both yesterday and Friday for the annual Oil & Gas Festival with a couple of friends. They had quite a good
size bunch of oil and gas engines running on both days. Yesterday was when they brought out the big guns to the festival. All of the photos from the
festival were taken on Saturday.
I wasn't kidding about the big guns either.... especially when it has to be brought in on a flatbed truck.
One of the several gas engines on display and running.
Got to take a couple of photos of some classic vehicles while there. I must say I'll take the '87 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme!!
Ye Olde War Wagon!!! The Army ambulance!!!!
The Mack on the left or the International on the right........ Think I'll go with the Mack!!
Did manage to shoot a few trains up there over the past two days as well. Took a few on Friday in and around New Martinsville and the yard.
Awaiting further instruction from the conductor back in the yard. The engineer of the Y217 holds the main line and the yard lead as they assemble
their train for the run up to Natrium.
Had to try another shot just up the road at Proctor as the yard job makes its run up past a house that is getting to be very familiar.
Enjoy the sound and symphony of an Electro-Motive 16 cylinder 645-E3B as CSX GP40-2 is seen shuffling cars out and about as the resonance from the
Electro-Motive 645 prime mover fills the air around the former Baltimore & Ohio railroad yard.
Awaiting a re-crew just short of a road crossing on the Short Line just outside of New Martinsville, West Virginia. CSX 2049 is seen stopped with
Cumberland, Maryland bound Q316 as it holds the main with a long freight in tow.
Needless to say I've been quite busy over the last two days!!!

Hey Gimme! Nice pix and that video was neat! Loved the sounds!!!
There is an event fairly close to Me, called "Old Thrashers Reunion"
A LOT of old steam powered tractors and engines,
that would be the power source for running a shop of lathes, grinders, etc...!
They used Belts from the spinning Motor shaft, to, a wheel on a lathe or, to a shaft of a drill, for instance.
They would have Horse Pulls, where a team of Like Clydesdales would pull a 'sled' loaded with hundreds of pounds of steel weights. They would see who
could pull the farthest, down a track...
Then they had the same deal , but used the old tractors! Really cool stuff there!!

Ahhhhhhh, good old fashioned steam tractors. I was going to go to the National Threshers Show up in Wauseon, Ohio both this year and last year.
However, we got rained out last year when we had planned to go. This year, a friend of mine had a couple of things come up right around the time the
shows were supposed to take place and we didn't get to go either.
Hey Elfy! Yah It is a bit late isn't it!? I really didn't notice I guess. Was fixin some images in an edit prog...
CC has crashed. I'll tell Her Hi for Ya in the morrowmorn...
Hey!! Made a new word!!!?
I'm laughing here Mikebro because....
We actually use a close relative to your new word (especially on mysterious Island!!) and it is...
Ramorradays!
As in.... "I'll see you ramorradays then!" (try it in A Scots accent!!! LOL)
Good Morning. How is everyone on this MorrowMorn, of Last night?
I found the coffee pot outside sittin on a stump, but it was plugged in with a cord through the window. Was it a Pixie Who did that, or one of You?

From You, "You need to post the follow up 'imprint' pcs bro ..."
You mean the follow up from a different Crash. The one I posted last night was on March 30 last year.
This event,
happened on August 20, the year before that! So seems that now I need an updated Crash pic sequence!!LOL!!

Yah the Wolf/Dragon is a pretty cool Mix! I only did a quick look, when I found those two images. There may be better ones, where the animal has scaly
skin, along with the Wolven hair. That would be neat!!
Hey Bud. Sorry. I was tied up in an alien abduction Thread. It is HERE.
It is a pretty cool story of the event...
My day is ok so far. HAve to go out soon as Iam awake enough and get to building the floor at least, for Our Shed. I got the 4x4's set on blocks and
all leveled to proper height and al that yesterday. My Bro in law came over to help. Not a very smart guy at all, but His muscles helped with moving
stuff around...
Here's a quick account of His intelligience. Several years ago I wanted to move a fridge down some stairs that went down like 4 steps, then turned
from a small landing, then down like 6 more stairs. I layed out the plan for moving the fridge precicely how I wanted to move it. Simple plan. "Just
don't let go of the fridge or I will be smashed into the wall on the landing" I told Him at the end...
Guess what. Yep! I got smashed onto the wall as He had let go of the fridge!! LMAO!!!
