It has to be drawn, or painted - anything that taints. Unfortunately beads don't qualify as a tainting agent.

However you can use mixed medium indeed. Usage of flat pellets or newspapers is accepted, since it would qualify as collage, which is a reckognised technique in painting.

It has to be a 2D artwork, something which you can hang in a frame on the wall with no trouble.

I may post an entry, I didn't read the specifics of the time frame of this contest. I don't even like dragons but to help get this thing going I have been tinkering with some stuff. I don't know if you are familiar with the type of art I do or not but I'll work towards something that competes with yours =D I just hope I can do it in time as my time is not only limited but also very valuable to me.

Also this contest isn't being advertised enough in my opinion more artists would submit if posted enough about, I am going to send some PMs =D

Its the first attempt on making a contest, I would love to see any form of art..
It's the aesthetic view you share with you to us..
Do something you love, a leaf as a dragon wing, a cave entrance formed as a silhouette of a dragon.. Don't let a set of rules within a paradigm in the contest stop your creativity.. Human set the boundaries, your imagination breaks them..

Start of pencil drawing for the DC12016. Dragon sketch done in pencil on bristol strathmore villium...not sure if I will run with this one or start over.
