No it's not. He's been given asylum and is in an embassy. If the U.S. (or anyone else) were to try to go after him, it would be tantamount to declaring war.

Seth Rich died on July 10, 2016. The DNC leaks were released on July 22, 2016. Therefore, Seth died before the leaks were released.

It's a huge concern if the American Government knows about private Wikileaks dealings. That means the government hacked Wikileaks, maybe.

You're conflating Guccifer2.0's hack with the Wikileaks DNC email release, these are two totally separate events and not related other than where they came from.

Guc2 hacked their system, The Wikileaks DNC email leaks are not the results of Guc2.

He could have been gathering intelligence for anyone, or any agency foreign or domestic, covertly. If so he could have exceeded his usefulness and became a liability that needed to be eliminated.

Bottom line Assange said His source without naming names was Seth Rich and is offering a $20,000 reward.That would also mean it is His source of who the hacker realy is.
Otherwise they would never give a $20,000 reward,they have no need to do it.

All the more reason if you have a legal background no public office position for you. Thats how the rules need to be changed. And where we went wrong in this country.

Wouldn't it seem plausible that if it were Russian intelligence hacking the DNC, maybe Mr Rich was threatened or blackmailed by them, and offed when he didn't cooperate? (Or after he did, to prevent him from talking) ?

There may be multiple bad actors here.

Mr Assange is currently in asylum within the Ecuadorian embassy in London.. The odds of getting him at this location are slim but still possible but it would cause a absolute crap storm if it were to happen.
