Actually, yes, Muslims do need to assimilate to some degree. You can see the results in Europe when they don't. So unless you think that simply accepting the rapes, murders, and random mass killings in the name of Allah is just another wonderful aspect of multi-culturalism that we should all embrace ... yes, they need to assimilate the cultural aspect of pluralism and learn to tolerate living among people of differing beliefs and accept that.
