Welcome One and All to The 2016 Democratic National Convention

Just stopping in to say that I LOVED the speeches by Biden, Tim Kaine and Obama last night! I thought for sure I'd sleep through Obama's speech (I usually do), but it was fantastic...

I saw a sign at the convention that fits for me... "My Heart is with Bernie, but My Vote is with Hillary!"

Gosh, I hope it's OK that I posted something about the convention...

The establishment Democrats and Republicans are all a part of the same club.

That's why Bernie got the shaft and they tried to pull the same with Trump while Clinton gets a pass on all the scandals, fraud and corruption she is involved in.

If Trump had a fraction of the scandals Hillary is linked to his campaign would be over.

And yet Trump is still ahead in polls.

Thank God there are other means of gathering information now.

In your state, how does that affect primary voting?
In PA, you have to vote according to how you are registered in the primaries.

I'm in Florida and I cannot vote in the primaries. Fortunately, Trump had a double digit lead over all the other candidates so I wasn't really worried about it.

The openly racist DNC continues into day 4...

Your choice. I am well aware of the Log Cabin Republicans and GoProud - - - and how they were treated by the RNC.

I was a 40 year Goldwater Republican until the NEO-CONS and Christian Religious Right took over the party.

Hopefully, a standing ovation means there will be changes on this issue in the Republican Party.

Ya know, you've made many comments of that nature throughout this thread, and I wonder what purpose it serves.

Is it racist that the DNC has given a voice to minorities and people of color at this convention?
